I've seen it at Central Market but that was a while back. I think you can get it in Wal-Mart (plastic bottles), and even Randall's.

Thanks. I'll stop by the Randall's here in Midtown and see if they have some in stock.

Care to name some of these stores? I will gladly get away from corn syrup to discover sugar again. :D

Randall's, Randall's Flagship, Fiesta, HEB, HEB Central Market, and Kroger all carry Mexican Coca Cola and Sprite in the Houston area.

Dublin Dr. Pepper — called that because the bottling plant that makes it using the original Dr. Pepper formula using cane sugar is in Dublin, TX — used to only be available in a limited area of Central Texas, near the town of Dublin. However, the last few years it's become increasingly more available. The first supermarket I saw it at in Houston was HEB Central Market, around late 2003/early 2004. In the last year or so I started noticing it being stocked at the Randall's Flagship on Holcombe at Buffalo Speedway. It was also at the Randall's in the Meyer Park Center at South Post Oak Road and West Bellfort Avenue (which has a very large selection of kosher items as well). However, I don't think all non-Flagship Randall's had it.

My new job has a Sprint account and I am trying to chose between a Blackberry Curve 8330 or the Palm Treo 800w. I'm currently leaning toward the Treo because it has Windows Mobile 6.1 and thus supports EVDO Rev. A, but I've never had a PDA phone like these before so I don't know which would be better. Any boxian thoughts?

I think the G1 will be cool for personal use, but not for business use. The lack of integration with corporate e-mail systems is a major issue for the G1, as it was for the iPhone, and still remains an issue for the iPhone at many companies.

Get a new job sans Sprint account. :D

I have the 8830 on AT+T and survive. Although it's painful sometimes.

Wow. For the first time today there are more guests than staff in the hotel lobby.

I feel a hint of desperation and panic coming on as we look for a new place to live... I've explored Montrose, Midtown, the Heights, and even downtown and a lot of the places are either dumps or already pending lease. :(

The rental market is on fire at the moment, especially in Houston (in the wake of Ike). It's a buyer's market, not a renter's market.

Well it's a buyer's market if you've got flawless credit, a serious down payment, and can get a mortgage company to qualify you…

Good luck Hartmann. I know this has been a very frustrating experience. Hopefully you'll find something you like, in the right price range, in a neighborhood you'll love quickly.

I'd love to buy but I would be even more picky if doing that rather than renting...

Cash is king right now, until the ink on all those new notes the Treasury is printing dries...

However, the Yen we bought last week have already appreciated 5% :D

Anyone know how to make a stalled update in Vista go thru and finish installing? Apparently I'm not one of the cool kids that is allowed to start one of those OMNI Clinic threads. I'd rather rely on Box expertise than people I don't know as well in Travel Tech.

Seconded.

The SBH plays the Vista game. She hasn't brought me in for consultation yet, and work runs XP.

In other news, anyone in the Box an Arrested Development fan? I'm thinking of downloading a season from iTunes for my iPood and am having trouble selecting which one.

Discuss.

I have the Palm Treo 700WX and I love it. It is simple to sync your pda with outlook and download your mail.

Mine is falling apart after two years and verizon does not offer any palms that are windows based anymore so I am not sure what I am going to do.
