There is no window at 32A, so I'd go with 16A. Also, people tend to congregate in front of 32ABC while waiting for the lavs (it annoyed me after a few hours).

If having a window does not matter to you, you might also want to keep an eye out for 16DEF opening up at check-in.

Thanks for pointing out the missing window at 32, That is important to me.

I'm pretty sure I know my answer but I'm curious what others would do given the situation I'm in for my flight tomorrow. I'm on the 9:40pm DL flight from ATL to LGA. I'm silver medallion this year thanks to a freebie they gave me for no apparent reason. I can either credit the flight to CO and net the ~400 EQMs (T fare) or I can credit the flight to DL and take the upgrade (which came through 48 hours in advance some how). I've already hit silver and won't make gold.

Enjoy the DL upgrade.

I am not wide, so I am not worried about the width, except I think it will not be the best for sleeping. I just dont want to make an uninformed decision.

The problem with the armrest on the 777 is that the doesn't really go all the way up and be flush with the seat back. Maybe it will be near flush with seat back all the way up, but when you go back (and the seat went further back that I thought it would) it was jabbing me in the shoulder.

The rkkwan special isn't a bad choice, row 44, if it's available. If you're alone get the aisle seat and you have the space next to the seat to stand up w/o blocking the aisle.

So it sounds like I need to pick my poison. Either take a bulkhead seat with an immovable tray table in the armrest or a regular seat with an armrest that won’t go all the way up and probably jab us in the shoulder. Decisions, decisions……..

MBM3, Get yourself some of this:

Sprayed some of that witch p!ss on a rusted nut on my snowblower... Before using it, I thought I was going to snap off the stud... went out an hour later and removed the nut with my fingers. I've messed around with things mechanical for 45 years and usually will not endorse the "miracle product of the month". This stuff is the real deal.^^

I will keep that in mind for next time. I took the brute force approach, grabbed a big drill bit, and used my girth to drill out the S.O.B.s along with some spray lube to cool down the bit. Worked like a charm and prevented a divorce filing....

For the most part, from what I hear. The newer Sigmas have been getting really good reviews and perform very well for the money. One of my friends is in lusty passionate love with his.

It was. But it's still a cheaply made, fragile, and clunky lens that kinda sucks in low light. However, if most of your shots are outside during the day, it'll do for the time being.

They also seem to go out of their ways to step on your feet too as they congregate . 32C is a bad seat, it gets hit all the time as people pass as they walk around the lavs. Also can get hit by the carts too.

I'm very happy with both of my Sigmas, DC 18-50 F2.8 and an APD DG 70-300 F4.0. Strangely I think the optics are slightly crisper on my 70-300 and that's the less expensive lense of the two.

Imagine this surprise - NW swapped a 753 for a 752 on the BOS-AMS late flight tonight:

I am guessing there were some very ticked off people expecting WBC seats and some very happy elites getting the push to the front.

One wonders what CO could do with extra ETOPS 753s.....
:p

I just finished up dinner with UA's Capt. Denny Flannigan. What a great guy! It was a wonderful night and we got some very nice UA goodies. He told some great stories including Tommy777 helping out with getting a wheelchair from Ft. Collins, CO to Honduras. It was a very fun night.

I know the shoeicide incident was already discussed in here, but it just occurred to me that this probably means another 8 years of taking our shoes off at security checkpoints.
