I always take the person who tells me it hurts like a 7 very, very seriously (little hint for the narc seeking crowd ;) ). rkkwan, as mentioned in the other thread, I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery. One advantage of having this procedure done so young is your body will be able to recover that much faster. (Just don't ask for a widebody catheter) Looking forward to reading your posts, post surgery. |

FWIW, I just called the Hilton Diamond Desk and complained about not having any promotions in a while and the rep told me she would add a 2,500 point bonus if I have a stay within 60 days. Granted she may have done this because she saw I havent stayed at a Hilton (or any hotel) in over 3 months it may be worth calling and complaining to see if they will give you a few bonus points.:p

SHOULD I DUMP THE CANUCK?
I've been jonesing to do something, just the two of us, over a weekend. Get away and just relax. I was really pulling for the TPA/SXM e-savers but I guess she can't take off Monday. Poop. I found cheap flights to MSY (she's never been) coming home Sunday night and because it's winter the hotels are, of course, pretty cheap. I asked her if she wanted to go and she hesitated. "It seems like an awful long way to go for only 1.5 days." :eek::mad::eek::mad: |

She does realize what she's gotten herself into right? That's a normal weekend for us btw. :D Our usual time in LAX area is 30 hours touch down to take off and somehow it doesn't seem strange to us.

Royal Caribbean's super-annoying flash ads have ensured that I will not be spending any $$$ with them any time soon. I hope Holland America doesn't start spamming FT with flash ads. I'd hate to stop using them.
