BUUUUUUUUURRRRRP!

Oh, excuse me! :o

No napping here. Just out running errands and doing household chores.

And dreading my 6:45 AM flight tomorrow morning. :(

Two 744's and two 333's down and two more 744's to go, plus one 752. Currently at ICN awaiting my next 744 flight (in six hours - ugh). I think I might ride on the lower deck this time just for the hell of it.

ICN is a great airport for airplane spotting, by the way. Pretty much nothing but heavies as far as the eye can see, and the KE lounge has great views. I can't wait to upload the 8gb's of photos and video from this trip.

Seth, I saw cruisr on the ship inspection. She says hi.

Luckily tomorrow is a holiday for my client (believe it or not), so I get to avoid the 6:50 to CLE and I'm on the 14:37 instead, and then on to ALB. So, no early flights for me this round.

My traveling this year has been the pits compared to last year. I'm sitting at a paltry 9K EQM's and I don't expect to re-qualify. I guess I'm not really complaining, but I'll miss having Platinum status. I had wished that at least made Silver, but oh well.

I bet! I love the heavies. :D

Wow!!

I didn't think that there were any sitting platinums that were doing worse than I am on requalification, but you actually make the list. I'm at ~16K with another ~6K booked/planned. Not sure where the last 3K are going to come from but I'll probably make the run.

Just getting home now from a 6pm dinner/DO/Meet with some other NYC FTers. More bottles of wine than people is always a good measure of how well a dinner goes, IMO. :D

Yeah if I were that close I'd definitely make a run. Good move.

As for me, at this point in the year, I'd normally say 'anything can happen'. However, with a baby due in December, I think I can probably dispense with the notion of playing catch up. :p

More bottles of wine than people is a good measure indeed. ^

Where are you planning to have your baby? We went through Birthing Basics Class at TCH today and yesterday. St. Lukes should be where our baby enters this world, November 15.

I overslept and did not check in at the 23:59 mark for my flights tomorrow:eek:

Now I am #3 on the list with one seat open...... Oh My.

Hold off 24 hours so your baby and I could share a birthday - :D.

I hate being pressured into billing for hours that in my mind, are not billable. When I screw something up or the work I am doing for the client is due to a circumstance that has nothing to do with the client, I tend not to bill for it. My boss seems to think differently.

Morning Box.

Case of the Mondays.

The good news is that I-10 Westbound from I-45 to past Beltway 8 is 5-6 lanes and the traffic is fantastic! ^

We're having a home birth. Our first child was born at St Lukes, but we had our second at home as well.

Morning Box. I need caffeine. Note to self: Don't book any yourself on the 6:45 AM ATL-IAH flight ever again.

MilesDavis Oct 13, 2008 7:54 am

7am (or therebouts) flights are never fun.
