White House for everyone.

And any rule in the church is just a suggestion anyway.

I would hire you as my personal concierge , but you would have to travel up here via amtrak Casino Train :D

If I could find a good corporate concierge gig I'd be on it like roll on eyes. That's one thing I have not thought to look for.

I think I will be able to make it, and will try to convince Mr. Brit to come. It will be nice to meet everyone, being a newbie and all!

I'm currently in the PC at IAH E concourse waiting for my flight to PHL. Last leg of my first pure MR.

Spent the night at SEA airport. B gates were deserted. But South'West seats had no arm rests, so I could lie down. Managed to get some decent sleep. Hopped into the PC club for a quick bagel and cuppa tea before the 6am departure, and in so doing missed an oversell call, so didn't get bump! Bugger! Next time!

I'll tell Amtrak to give me a  discount - that applies to their entire network.

Nope. I've looked at it, but most of the time it would sit at home gathering dust, considering the short stage length of my average flight, and the fact that it's so rare I fly overnight in Y.

I still wonder if I'd be crazy enough to do such a trip? On the surface it does sound cool. Glad to hear it's all going well. BTW, Chelsea does the food for AF if they fly out of a Chelsea airport. The AF stuff I saw at IAH looked real good compared to CO stuff.

AF J food and wine are very good.

I have heard mixed reviews about it. What did you eat?

If the situation continues to become worse in ELP (like it did today) is there a chance that CO will let us rebook to MAF?

sfogate Mar 4, 2009 1:56 pm

One of the most frustating things about the SFO weather delays these past three days, has been the refusal of Singapore Airlines, China Airlines and EVA Airlines to hold their flights for atleast 15 minutes to get our delayed passengers over to them. EVA and China were willing to wait until T-5 but Singapore refused to give us any time past their T-15 even though we were talking about 7 F Class customers. Each one of these airlines claimed they had to leave on time otherwise they would miss their landing slot.

Of course they'll always let you rebook to MAF… for $150 each.

What's the situation?

That's ridiculous. No way that they're scheduled so tightly that a 15 minute delay in departure time will cause them to miss a landing slot.

Isn't most of the violence in Juarez? I probably wouldn't spend a ton of time in El Paso, but I'd feel safe flying in/out of the airport.
