Is this SOP or just ?

Night box

Many places clear the salt/pepper even before bringing the dessert menus over. I've never used salt or pepper on my dessert and that lets them actually clean up the table to prep it for dessert. Or they were being annoying and rushing you out of the place. Hard to know which it was.

Morning Box.

Final walk-through at 10 and then closing scheduled for 230. As I've learned, a lot can happen between now and then, but, as of now: winner winner, chicken dinner.

Good Luck!!

The weather seems to have held up for today here in NYC. It will be cool and windy, but also sunny, out at CitiField. Woohoo!

And more than one Middle Eastern carrier at that - I did that same route on Emirates a couple of years back.

Yeah I am looking to do the same thing this summer.

:( Oh well...

Since you've been there, can you confirm that it is possible to access the lounge upon arrival? I've read that it is in the transit area and it looks like it is possible to reach, but I'm just looking for confirmation (I can't remember if someone else was already able to confirm...).

Morning, Box.

I too will reserve congratulations - I know belynch would appreciate my pragmatism.

You know I have never used the lounge on arrival as I am usuall darting to catch the ICE, but you can use it on arrival they do have shower rooms thereas well

an FYI when you enter the bar is right in front, it is fine for a CRC. Go to the back left corner, it is the quite area, nice comfortable chairs there. The shower rooms are back around there as well.

Enjoy your trip FRA sucks but Deutchland is great!

I have strong views on drink certificate policies.

Does that involve anything like free refills and unlimited expiration dates?

I am still discerning whether there is a sweet spot between the 75 seater props and the 733. The 735 just seems more expensive to operate with less benefits, such as the ability to do TATL and ongoing segments during the day. The Avros seem to be an option, but they are not all that cheap to operate per hour.

And luckily all of us do not need to stress over the time of day for our flights, nor passenger comfort. :)

30" pitch? That's for exit rows!

734 and 735 are great replacements for high-demand prop routes - the larger seat count more than makes up for operating costs.

Guys in glass houses....

Seriously, have you been watching the Yankees this year? "Struggling" is an understatement. They've stunk up a few stadiums already this season. And I did visit Yankee Stadium first but I wanted to see both early this season. Plus I got field level seats (4th row inside 1st base) for half price. Hard to complain too much about that.

Annoying, but there is actually nothing the phone folks can do about it anyways. Calling them is really just an exercise in frustration and futility; not worth the wasted breath.

Ensure that you get the engine upgrade when you purchase 735s. That extra million in upfront cost gives them transcon range.
