Glad that you got home ... There seemed to be a number of  MRs this weekend. Mine was uneventful, except my last segment from Saturday has yet to post.

Why did I look at all of the summer courses at NYU? As usual there's a bunch of stuff I like.:( Of course now they are putting more on weekends. Before I couldn't do it because I couldn't get into the city. Of course when that wasn't a problem I didn't know about NYC-SCPS.

I drinking ConciergeMike's favorite brand of bourbon. ^

And I'm finally almost done decommissioning my old desktop, which had been around for almost 6 years.

I think you are right, Devils are out.

SuperG1955 Apr 28, 2009 8:21 pm

Hey CM, sorry 'bout that. I won't say that I told you so, but....

BTW, cheepneezy, the rangers still suck.

Not only are they out, but they were winning with less than 2 minutes in the game. Giving up two goals in less than 50 seconds is a brutal, brutal, way to lose your playoffs. Like was said earlier, I'd rather lose in a blowout than a tight one, and this one looked very painful.

I remember having some friends over for the 2002 season's playoffs for the Giants-49ers game and whooping it up. Then it was the horror, the horror...

I have done the same with the Mavs and Heat :(

Only somewhat. The Rangers still lost.

Meh. I'd be a lot more pissed off about it if they had played as if they deserved to win the series.

You go, George. ^ And yeah, you called it a loss as soon as the matchup was announced.

As soon as that last goal went in the net, I'm pretty sure that the expletive I spit out was loud enough to be heard hither and yon in my neighborhood. The fans in the stadium agreed, as even Mike Emrick said that they were leaving in droves. Who can blame them?

And is it me or did Brodeur's time off come back to bite him? When not under siege he looked rusty, and in need of contact lenses. Way to go on letting those two pucks go past you in the exact same spot under your arm. Either it's rust or it's that the regular goalie coach had the flu. No, seriously. The goalie coach hasn't been around for almost two weeks.

I'm gonna go make the changes I need to make in AM and try to think about how I'm going to get used to watching baseball this f-ing early in their year. It's almost as riveting as NASCAR.

I'm getting grief from my partner over having a small box of 3.5" disks in my office cabinet that he found earlier this evening. He even Tweeted about it, questioning why anyone in this day and age would still have them. I had actually forgotten they were in there, but have made him promise he won't toss them out until I can make sure there's nothing on them I need.

I like having a few around. You never know when you'll need to load RAID drivers on a Windows server you're building.

This is why I have them. Also, I have no other way to play Basstour.

As a Heat fan, 2006 was a great year. The Mavs just folded.^:D

Exactly. I think part of what's in that box are the emergency recovery disks for my now ancient desktop computer. At the time it was new, it couldn't boot from the CD drive, so creating a recovery disk required several 3.5" disks. I'm almost positive that's what's in that box, plus probably a couple of blank ones. That computer will soon be retired though, as the motherboard seems to be failing.
