Forgot about the PTY contingent...

There will always be next time. We're not so self-important that you have to wait for us. I mean, this isn't the "other" forum. :D

I won't be able to make it on 3/28 as I will be down in TPA. :(

I knew you'd like that. Thank you for your kind words, there will always be more DOs.

Great. I get to be sbm12's sole keeper. :)

Other than March 28, the Xyzzy clan isn't available until mid May. Why don't we meet and eat March 28 and then schedule something else for May/June?

Im sorry , I have a family baptism to attend and I can't miss it .

I tried to point out the fact that the Catholic Church does not really allow baptisms between Ash Wednesday and Easter Sunday , apparently they got some sort of waiver

I like the larger suite hotels personally, much better than the mid ranged properties.

But I haven't been to the one in IAH, I was at the sheraton.

I was surprised at the Summerfield Suites as well - the studio room layout was essentially the same as a Hyatt Place (which I love); the only differences was a full-sized refrigerator, the restroom where the closet ordinarily would be, and the heating / cooling system (most of the cause of the problem).

I'm staying at a Hyatt in Wichita this week and am truly amazed. It's not a terrible hotel, but they've missed the mark on some small things.

1) There's a shoe print in the bath tub and apparently it is not coming out. Apparently this isn't an issue to anyone.

2) The tp dispenser is one i've seen in public bathrooms so that the patrons don't steal the tp. I kid you not.

3) There is a distinct lack of lighting, particularly in the bathroom. It's like you're taking a shower during a blackout.

Lesson of the week: Don't stay at the Hyatt in Wichita.

It sounds worse than if it was a Hyatt Place that never changed from being an Amerisuites.

It's in the bathroom in probably 60-70% of the hotels I stay in. Seems like that's where it is at most Hamptons, Courtyards, Fairfields, and even a lot of full service Hiltons and Marriotts. As for Starwood, the last five I've stayed at it was in the bathroom; it seems that's where it's being located for aLofts, but I've also been in a couple of Westins and Sheratons lately where it was in the bathroom.

That's the percentage i've noticed too.

Agreed...but many industry people have also told me that room coffeepots should never be used anyway.

I think I've used them twice in desperations.

We just had some wild weather in San Francisco. In a span of 5 minutes, we have had BB size hail, heavy down pour of rain and thunder/lightning, plus patches of blue sky.

I still need to find a real job but I now have to two one day courses to put together that I get to present in May at Rutgers University. Though I don't have many hours to bill I like the rate as it's nearly the same as my last job which surprised me.
