I still need to find a real job but I now have to two one day courses to put together that I get to present in May at Rutgers University. Though I don't have many hours to bill I like the rate as it's nearly the same as my last job which surprised me.

So this is sort of good news ^

Yes. Now I have to come up with good titles by the end of the day so they can get them in the system.

No, but I love the incredibly generous Y seat pitch in the photo on their website. It's even more than UA E+. If only every row was like that.

I saw him on Monday when he arrived at SFO. I greeted him with a  sign. I'm off today so I don't care what kind of weather we're having.

Agreed...but many industry people have also told me that room coffeepots should never be used anyway.

Yeah I very, very rarely use them. I'm more likely to use it if it's the single use, pod-style maker that many places are getting now, that brews directly into your cup. Even then, I usually scrub out the basket with soap and water first.

People get so worked up over hotels having all kinds of germs, but seriously, are they really that much dirtier than any other place we go on a daily basis?

The typical office desk is one of the worst places for germs and such yet people eat their lunches there.

The box is quiet. Which leads me to believe that someone did win Mega Millions ;) Waiting on the MM MR to begin!

Belynych, my last trip to HHI was in July and yes, the traffic circles have improved over the years.

Offices, many restaurants (especially fast food places), our cars, our own homes, public transit, places we shop… seriously, if you're such a germaphobic that you can't handle a clean hotel room, you should just invest in a sterile plastic bubble and never come out of it. Because that's about the only place you'll find in this world that's truly "clean."

A few years ago a coworker of mine was always complaining about the glasses in hotel rooms, and how she carried Clorox wipes and latex gloves to wipe down everything in the hotel room when she checked in. Then I saw her house. I can't imagine any hotel that's part of the Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, or possibly even Intercontinental (they do have some skanky Holiday Inns left out there) being as filthy as her own home was. I was shocked.

I'm on lunch break now. I've been teaching online time entry to my client that needs lots of hand-holding this week. We're now at least 4 hours behind on this week's agenda, made worse by their entire payroll office showing up to class at least 90 minutes late (two of them were two hours late). And the two who were latest weren't here at all yesterday, so they're really lost today. I really deserve a bonus for being on this project.

I just called Airbii and chartered an A380 to meet me in ACY after I cash the ticket :D
