I should be able to give rides on Sunday to whoever needs them as well, if you can add me to the list.

Yes, I clarified that point.

It is a grandfathered law in the neighborhood and as long as one person in the party has provided their ID for the TABC, then drinking can take place.

When did CO start offerring "seasonal selections" of their premium wines? Some are in the $30 range (per glass)... A bit too rich for my blood when I'm at an airport.

While that is higher prices than most it still is not too much depending on the cost. The PC Wine People may have found that people in the PC are like people on vacation in Las Vegas. As long as they are offered, they will buy up at times.

I think you have to do it as two dates/multi-segment because of the forced overnight.

I will have to keep this in mind as the Island hooper is something I have wanted to do!

IN other news:

Last night I had a dream. I was at the do and crashed the ultra exclusive plat tours and got a ride on a Boeing Personal Jet. Hey, it is a dream you know. Scary when you have dreams about FT events. Guess the wine was good last night!

Now to pack for NOLA, the CO Do, and a week at Pebble Beach! This is going to be fun!

I'm also at the DT and need a ride.

Looks like the 2X Tree is the place to be. I'll be trying to bum a ride too... ^

For those interested in next week's possible Noreaster, check out Weather Underground's Northeast Weather Blog.

I used their Tropical Blog, by Dr. Jeff Masters, to keep abreast of what was happening with Ike, and they were leaps and bounds ahead of anything you could get from your local forecaster, or weather.com. It's like the FT of Weather. Those guys pour over the met data as it's issued from various supercomputers in the US, UK, and Europe, then geek out on it at length.

I can understand five words on that page... :p

In all seriousness, the Weather Underground is one of the best teams in meteorology.

I'm at the Marriott but can swing by the TreeTree and pick up two or three folks for the brunch. Simply coordinate with me prior to Sunday morning. I'll be the guy that's bigger than everyone else.

Surely you understand that as the dypsonch isolates and deepens over the stratohemispharic North Pacific , the barotrisic indicators will drop down into the 30s, possibly marking a shift in the isobarihelic currents, meaning that a cloud in the shape of a poodle will form somewhere over Kansas on Tuesday.

Cool. That's a great site.

In other stuff. I need a drink. Tell the Verizon guy to hurry up outside so I can leave and drink.

Well, it looks like we have a rough few months ahead of us. The CO/NW divorce is turning ugly.

At check in this morning in OMA, NWA refused to give me First Class and rebook me for free since "we are now Delta and Delta has no deal with CO".

Asked to see a supervisor and he agreed to except me from the 50 dollar same day rebooking fee (free for NWA Elites, paging Mr. O'Leary). In MSP, the GA laughed and told me the OMA check in lady was full of it and of course put me in F MSP-ORD.

I am not giving any more business to NorthWelta since they popped me for $40 in checked bag fees over Christmas. I will, of course, consider assisting in their financial ruination should a good mistake fare come down the pipeline. :D

At least until DO IV, hardly anyone knows about it unless you told them, I haven't told anyone. ^

I don't know that I would attribute it to "the divorce" turning ugly. More than likely it was just the standard ineptitude of NW contractor here.
