Kinda... Not NOLA, but I am headed to Monroe (by way of AEX now) on Monday. Which, in retrospect, doesn't really count as "that way"

There's not a whole heckuva lot in Monroe. Genusa's Italian restaurant on Park Avenue is actually pretty good, as is Samurai Sushi.

I think I just saw tumbleweed blowing through the box.

I didn't log onto FT a single time yesterday. It just took me almost two hours to catch up.

Internet is out at my house. It wont be back up until Feb 6

I have to catch up on FT at work and I am going to have to go to Panera Bread this evening to catch up on emails and pay some bills.

Great Vegas photos. I didn't know they had a tram between TI and Mirage. Good to know if I ever go back. I suspect some of the ladies who post here would have liked photos of the other boat. God knows they drooled enough after all of the evil glares they would give their bf,husbands, etc. (I got an elbow in the ribs for taking photos of the ladies)

Those are interesting photos of BUR. That's a fancier setup than what they use to have at ONT.

There is also a tram from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur with a stop at luxor or an express right over to the excalibur. There used to be a another free tram from MGM to Bally's, but that is now the monorail which costs $5.00 :td:

Is hell blocked by the nanny? It's not one of the 7 dirty words you can't say on TV FT.

The Box jumped the shark again. ;)

I've been on both of those. I got the strange looks when I mentioned that but the looks of it the Monorail is simular to the ones at Disney and the Luxor - Excalibur, etc. is a wider version of the EWR Airtrain.

What about the IAH choo-choo, the XYZZY Express?

:)

I called the low fare guarantee number. Someone picked up, didn't know what she was doing, told me to call the number again. W T F? I am so byond p!ssed off at Continental's incompetence at answering the phone it's not even funny. This is after a 2 hour hold on the phone last night and NO ONE picked up the phone after 2 hours of hold.

Then, there's the attitude I get constantly from the Elite Desk. W T F? UA 1K desk is 1 billion times better than this B S. I am about reaching my boiling point with CO. I like the inflight product and groudn crew, but if this is how its going to be, I'm going back to UA.

I'm sorry to say I've spent many an unfortunate day in Monroe. Samurai Sushi is the one bright spot that makes it all bearable, but that is only a relatively recent addition. Warehouse No1 on Riverside also isn't horrible... Haven't been to Genusa's though. Might check it out if time allows. Thanks for the heads up!
