I normally start all calm and helpful.....open the browser........wth is this crap???? who put this here? what is this? do you know? what does this program do?????? (by then I am really mad)

pop up.......what is this????? does it do this all the time? you thought it was normal????????????

I swear we need licenses to operate computers....."hello, I am ready to assist you , may I have your computer operator license number? you don't have one?? oh thats too bad......."

Me too. I don't want to get screwed on my Trinidad trip. I have so much invested. :p

The Caribbean will never be the same.

I can handle a mess on Monday when I'm just trying to get back home to go to work. But if I miss the football game I'm planning to attend on Sunday, I'm gonna be jacked.

That's exactly what I am doing. If I do Business/First all the way booked in A class, the fare is significantly lower.

However, the last segment I'm trying to book doesn't have A available. When I attempted to choose the last segment as coach on CO.com, the price jumps up to almost double as much.

I think in this case, CO.com it splitting this into 1 half roundtrip + 2 separate one ways giving a Y fare basis. This increases the price significantly. What I want is to have the same A fare basis for all segments but have the last segment without A booked into Y so I can just automatically upgrade into it as an elite.

Hmm... Call an Elite agent and see if they can book the whole itinerary as A, but place you in the Y-cabin as a displaced-F customer. I think I remember reading here on FT that it's possible to do that if you get a cooperative agent. I think channa wrote something about doing that a while back. I'll see if I can find it.

I spent yesterday rebuilding a friend's laptop, and couldn't believe the questions he asked. There was a point where I just wanted to say... "seriously, you should just stop using a computer."

Hahaha, yeah, that's normal for me as well. When I start looking at the pc the "what is this crap?! why must you people click on everything that pops up!"

I've just decided every year i rebuild their machine from scratch and it helps a lot.

I thought I'd dip my toe in the waters over there. It's a nice refuge from the carnage floating around the rest of the DL Forum at the moment. I like to pop into the Lounge once I've run out of popcorn. :D

I don't use the stuff but it, like everything else over there, is abundant and free of charge. ;)

Haha. Sorry, but I can think of a thousand places I'd rather go for Valentine's Day than Lubbock. :p

And speaking of that lovely West Texas city, my last scheduled work trip there is coming up next week. That's not to say I won't be back there for work, but after next week, I don't have any trips scheduled there.
