I never manage to find Charlie or Tripp these days. I haven't seen either one in months.

Tripp always seems to be around on Saturday mornings and afternoons in E. Also saw him on a Thursday afternoon a couple of weeks ago.

IIRC, Charlie works afternoon/evenings at C South, and Tripp works those shifts at E. They are both almost always in those respective clubs when I am at IAH on Friday evenings.

I don't think Charlie works Monday evenings, and that's probably why I keep missing him. I'm usually through IAH on Mondays late in the afternoon or early in the evening. On Fridays I'm more likely to be there in the morning/early afternoon. I've specifically looked for both, and have been in both C clubs and the E club on Monday evenings recently and not seen either.

I didn't log onto FT a single time yesterday. It just took me almost two hours to catch up.

If you like skiing or snowboarding, be sure to visit the Summer Ski area near Stryn (easily accessible from Geiranger). They still had ridiculous amounts of snow on the ground when I was there (late July).

I don't ski. Certainly not well. This is what happened last time I tried. That hurt. A lot.

man purse?

Yeah, aka my Tamrac bag. It is a messenger pack style strap over the shoulder, but smaller and more purse-like.

Or should I call it a European carryall?? ;)

CLE is a mess - the snow has not stopped since last night and streets are almost impassable. I live on a main road (Bunts/W140) and the city (Lakewood) is using conga lines to keep it passable.

I am sure the airport is doing a great job with it, but what a mess!

I stand corrected. There is now at least 2 feet out there. It comes up to our 5 Lab's chests in the back yard. I am really impressed. I will put on my cross country skies and take a hike through the neighborhood.
I don't remember the other storms, but this has been the snowiest winter ever around here.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I had a mild concussion from that impact. It took me about 20 minutes to get up off my arse to make it down the rest of the hill. Two different ski patrol guys actually stopped to make sure I was OK as I was laying there trying to gather my wits about me.

On the plus side, I do the apres-ski thing VERY well. :p

Same here. I've ended up with worse than that bruise. I wish I could ski, but apparently it's just not for me. Either that, or I've never managed to find a good instructor who could work with me to get it right.

Glad to hear it was from sking and not from telling the wife you found a great MR but only able to get one ticket at that price in FC to Hawaii in January!

Just picked up the snail mail today, and received an invitation to participate in the Mileathon. ^ It sucks, this year I barely have travel, and the only travel I do have before the end of the contest is one trip in April to either SAN or DEN. We're not sure which medical conference we're going to (both would be nice), and I get about 500+ more miles o/w going to SAN, then DEN. I wish this would have come last year!

I took a ski tip to the lip and nose. You havent lived until you've ridden that orange sled down the slope after making cherry snow. :D

I fondly remember my days of skiing in high school and college, including Summit County Colorado. A' Basin was surreal!

Could everyone take a look at http://www.shadeheights.com and let me know what you think of the brunch menu? I am going to give them a call and see if reservations can be made.
