I'll re-read the rules and if it looks bad, I'll back off. They technically are an airline coupon of some kind.

My Certifcation expired last year, I just don't do enough Cisco anymore ,
I went from implementing routers, firewalls and switches every day to the ocassional log in to our firewall to manage it .
I was asked to set up a vpn next month and i have to look up how to do it

now that you mention it......I also remembered the horrible way they phrase certain questions which make you second/triple /quadruple guess yourself.....

I liked my Chem Eng tests better than some of the RETARDED questions they asked in those tests.....which I am sure I failed, not because of not knowing but because of not giving THEIR answer

I re-read the rules and they do fall into a sort of gray area. They apply to a store (SkyMall) while store stuff is verboten there, but they have a CO logo on the front. I PM'd Spiff just for CYA purposes.

My coupons: CM-tested, Spiff-approved.

Why would a ticket be available on orbitz.com but not the airline website?

does it involve codeshares? Mrs Wolfie is originally from a small city in MI where CO doesn't fly (only NWA)

You should see the tricks I have to pull to convince CO.com to give me the flights I want (At a reasonable price)

Thanks, it is not a codeshare, but your response gave me some inspiration to beat DL.com into submission.

Wedding website is very much taking shape...now if only we could get the church contract done and the reception venue deal signed - then the site would be ready to go live.

Tempting... Especially SXM!

Depending on sbm12's reports, I may be tempted to check out POS as well.

More Sirens of TI: [Too bad I didn't bring my 85/1.8, or I'll have a lot more "good" pictures of them.]

Nifty. I've never been to BUR but I have flown B6 out of LGB, and it looks much the same as BUR does. It's a throwback to the 1950's for sure.

Anyone from the CO forum at the LAX PC last night for the redeye to IAH? My friend overheard two people of Asian decent talking about flying and he looked over and noticed FT on one of their Macs.

I still look 90% of it up, too. I studied just enough to pass the test because my old company paid for the tests and they needed people to be certified to be a partner. Once I had the cert it didn't really matter how well I knew the stuff. Besides, the documentation on the Cisco site is actually pretty freaking good once you find it, so no reason to try to memorize everything. The really scary part is that I am one of the most knowledgeable guys on Cisco from my old company, because I just don't know that much.

I dislike the Cisco exams these days because they are more CLI based. They give you a flash simulator of an IOS session and have you configure things. I don't memorize the entire IOS command reference; that is why I have their website and the ? command. As for misleading questions, I think Microsoft is much worse. Figuring out their answer from the options presented is always an adventure, especially since they test based on architecture for massive implementations that almost no one ever actually encounters. Annoying.

I bought two more plane tickets last night. I got my flight up to Tobago for Saturday/Sunday (with a later return on Sunday, so I'll actually get to spend a more reasonable amount of time in Tobago) and an ALCO-inspired ridiculous UA Q-Up MR. TPA-IAD-SAN-LAX-SFO-ONT//ONT-SFO-SAN-ORD-CLT-TPA. That's 35,944 EQMs at 1.56cpEQM taking in to account the 600 minimums for the BD program, and all but the first segment are in F. Of course, the last two are on US, and on the first UA is putting me into E- on the Ted plane, but still a phenomenal deal. The only thing I have to decide now is whether to drive from FLL to TPA to pick it up or if I should fly NK for $65 (or hope for a sale) or fly CO for $110. Who knows.
