I've had some troubles with IE but zero problems with FF3. And I guess that the initial loading slowness is the price paid for actually having so much more data in the maps. I'm OK with that.

Good points, but I'm lazy and can't imagine moving my data over. Building the FM data that I did (which in some cases is based on recollection and nothing else -) took long enough and was sufficiently painful when it came to loading all those NY-NJ area general aviation fields that I'd been to that I care not to repeat the experience.

She's indeed spectacular when the TV is off.

I guess we could do both. I'm not as big a fan of the OpenFlights Visual Layout. It's nice that it is a more zoomable map, but the zoomed-out world-map looks really cluttered (when compared to FM) when filled up with lots of flights. I think it's because the dots for airports are so huge.

I much prefer Flightmemory to OpenFlights for those reasons.

Just a Camaro, no IROC.

What's the point of having a Camaro if you don't have an IROC?

I might be able to do the January option. In March I'll only be Silver so I need to try to front-load my flights for the bonus miles.

If you can get four of these in before 02/28 (including EWR-SFO segments), you should be nearly back to Plat. Granted, your wife might kill you, and it would be a tad pricey, but... :D

I have a whopping four segments that I'm bringing to that table so far.

I just looked at my flightmemory and I already have 32 segments paid for in 2009  The only way I will be missing a flight is if I DIE because they are all non-refundable.

Lots of Box Action this evening. sbm12, rolov, CO 1E, and ssullivan have all personally witnessed my distressingly oversized carryon. On a 735, I had better board close to first (if in F), otherwise, there's no way that puppy will fit in the overhead.

I can't believe you have made it onboard with that with little to no resistence for all this time.

Another feature idea: Planned travel (could be a different colored line). As the travel is completed either the user can "approve" it or it can auto-approve to become "flown".

P.S. - Good grief that's a lot of flying... I love it.

I'm hoping to get back to S. Africa, as well. Should have the mileage in the bank to get 2x tickets there by the time New Year's 2009/10 availability starts rolling out. That's my mileage/redemption goal for next year.
