That's quite typical of many places. Starwood and Hyatt have a very small fraction of the number of locations that Hilton and Marriott do. There are cities larger than Omaha where neither of those brands has any presence.

Are there any cities smaller than Omaha?

I stand corrected... according to Wikipedia, Omaha is the LARGEST city in Nebraska!

I ran across this. Definitely not for the ladies and I'm not sure how safe for work it is.

It is an airline ad, so it is OT. At least as OT as one can be in the box.

I was curious, so I checked. Starwood have no property in ID, MT, NE, ND, WV and WY. First hotel in MS opening this May.

Hyatt is worse. It has no properties in IA, ME, MS, MT, NE, NH, ND, OR, SD, UT, VT, WV & WY.

Well it looks like I am headed to NOLAs this weekend. In late Saturday and out late Monday. Is anyone else headed that way?

On hold with the low fare guarantee line for over an hour. I'm not sure if this is worth my time

Kinda... Not NOLA, but I am headed to Monroe (by way of AEX now) on Monday. Which, in retrospect, doesn't really count as "that way"

More proof that they cater to the Spring Break crowd out of AUS. :p

If they didn't fly out of the AUS version of B84 I might actually be interested in trying them.

"I have better taste than that."

I love it. That's great... ^

Hotel is fine, but why are there no Starwoods or Hyatts in this town

Starwood is building in Omaha. There used to be a Westin which then downgraded to a Sheraton which turned into a don't even know what now.

Lincoln has almost as good a selection of hotels as Omaha and about 1/3 the size. In fact, the Marriott is much nicer.

You picked one of the few weekends of the year I won't be in MSY.
