I love the Q-200! It's one of my favorite turboprops. It's great fun to fly on the Mesa/UA Express flights over the Rockies out of DEN.

I'll take the scenery, no doubt. Ugh to the airframe. If my knees are tight, I shudder to think of yours.

For all the National renters in The Box - you might want to check out this thread for a Visa code that is giving some very interesting rates.

Re: CMH - I would say time the trip for a hockey night. But that's just me.

Just remember, license plate in the reg. number field. :D

I'll be on the ground long enough to pick up the last stay I need to requal for Marriott Silver this year.

I will be sure to share the license plate and make/model of the bus for all who are interested. :D

Leg room is tight. It helps that I've usually been able to get a seat right up front in the bulkhead, or two seats to myself.

Amazingly I can stand almost completely upright in the aisle. That plane has a very high ceiling — it's several inches higher than most RJs and turboprops.

Hmmmm...I can get a car for $0.47 at SNA during my MR weekend in November (CA tourism tax). I might do that and just sleep in the car rather than on a bench in the airport. And apparently for $0.00 in OKC. The coupon is worth more than the rental. I hope they honor it.

AN upcoming rental at SMF is coming out to $0.95. I'm a little reluctant to reserve that one... :)

I haven't priced any reservations with this deal yet but it looks promising. I need to nail down my personal travel dates for the rest of the year a little better first.

Book now, cancel later.

I posted over on the National board that it looks like they are pricing the one day free coupon even if you don't have the 3-day minimum in the reservation. I cannot imagine that they are going to honor it, and they don't have to based on the T&C, but I'm certainly going to bring the print outs with me and try. :D

I have my pick of any seat right now. Any suggestions? CO.com shows 1 & 4 as exit rows. Does that help at all?

I think row 1 has extra leg room, which is better on the right side of the plane than the left. On the left you may end up sharing knee space with the flight attendant.

In row 4 there's really not much more leg room — it's maybe an inch more, if that.

I would imagine the Horizon Q2 config is identical to the CoCo config...

I picked 4B.
