Enjoy lots of snow. It's actually a really beautiful area of the country, and there is some skiing in the area if you're into that.

Interesting. I just googled VPILF. I can't believe I had to google it

If it makes you feel any better, I too had to look it up when I first saw it.

Where's Fitch when you need him?

Somebody just shoot me. I've spend half my evening plowing through documents from the IRS and SSA dealing with electronic filing of W-2s trying to figure out a client's problem with correctly reporting third-party sick payments that have federal withholding.

My head is hurting and I need a drink.

Drink only leads to more drink......

Wait a minute what is the problem with that. :)

Well, my ABE-EWR-CMH-CLE-ABE itinerary dropped by $70 today so I had to take the plunge and buy it. This will give me 3 new "aircraft", 1 new airport and 4 new routes! I think I have now reached a whole new level of aeronerd. :D

For some reason CO.com won't hold my seat assignments so I'll need to call to have those taken care of. I'm guessing it has something to do with the bus (no seat assignment) being the first segment.

I got a little mouse click happy over the past few days and booked tickets for my last 5 trips (16 segments) of the year. Time to look to trips for 2009...

The force is strong in this one.

I'll raise you research into recent amendments to the Medicare Secondary-Payer Statute. You haven't properly lived until you've rolled naked in a pile of conference committee reports on the latest addition of an apostrophe to 42 USC 1395y. Now I know how Scarface must have felt before the end. It's lonely being on top when you live in the fast-lane on a knife-edge. :p

ugh, why can't find a deal on a starwood property in SAN. Where are the $99 starpicks I always see.

At 2314

The Q200 is an utter abortion of an aircraft...did it once and I won't be seeking it out pretty much ever again. When the "Captain" looks younger than you and the F/O looks young enough to make me think that he thinks he's playing a video game, it's time to hop a bus.

For me, it's just a plane on a list that needs to be crossed off. My standards are set pretty low (especially considering I am going to CMH). The crew sounds similar to many CoCo and CoEx crews... Calling them "Junior" would be generous.

Oh, I'll be doing that too... ABE-EWR. :D

You likely would not have enjoyed the ride I got on a Let-410 Turbojet from a fourth-string Honduran regional carrier. Communist Czech-made aircraft, controls in cyrillic, Pilot & Co-Pilot didn't look much older than me (I was 18 at the time), and I seriously doubt they could read cyrillic script. After we struck some sort of large seabird at the first island that we puddle-jumped to, some dude with a mop and bucket came out to clean the gore off the windows and prop before we took off again. As we came in to land at Guanaja, one could see the tail-section of another aircraft emerging from the Lagoon, painted in the same scheme as the airline we were riding on. Thanks to the commentary of my drunken seatmate, I learned that the wreckage was only two-weeks old.
