I guess that you're like us. It's a not great part of the driving experience :( but that is why we have insurance.

True; but looks like the shredder company is now responsible :) It was a company that picks up shredded paper who hit me. The cop was extra helpful because he was hit last week by a delivery driver, I mean ex delivery driver. Fortunately, minor damage and it's all good. It just amazes me that people hit a car and don't feel they need to do anything about it.

:):)

If you look at the seat ahead of you, there is a device that will come down in front of you to establish a flat surface upon which such things as drinks can be placed. Therefore, I suggest that you catch the attention of a flight attendant, the closest thing that you will find there to a bartender, and request that various beverages be placed on your personal bar. That may need to wait a few minutes until the airplane has leveled off for flight.

Well lets face it. the LBB-LGA ticket may be less but the money she would burn on fashion would eat through a year of FLYING! You have chosen wisely!

A new low was observed downstairs at the Embassy Suites in Omaha. Have seen some heavy drinking and huge messes at the Managers Reception in the past, but this one took the cake. A group of 12 guys were asked to leave .

Incredible what 3 hours of free drinks can do to conference people who are not used to drinking.

I stayed there one time during a snow storm. Nice place . . . for Omaha. Were they asked to leave the reception or the hotel?

Just the reception. Popcorn and nacho chips all over the place, what a mess...

Hotel is fine, but why are there no Starwoods or Hyatts in this town

That's quite typical of many places. Starwood and Hyatt have a very small fraction of the number of locations that Hilton and Marriott do. There are cities larger than Omaha where neither of those brands has any presence.

I'm so glad to be headed home tomorrow. I feel like I've been run over by a train after this week's client visit.

Me too. At least you are not in Omaha :p

Got done today, so only had dinner with the client tonight, so I'm standing by for an early flight back to Chicago in the morning, without paying 25 bucks ^^

Well today was officially the last day at my old job. I did get a nice severance package. Went to a friends event on campus where free wine and food was had! Same friend wants to go golfing Saturday. Make sure your not in OK or if you are watch out for the golf balls!

I think I need to go signup for the networking meet and greet. If any one is looking for a traveling food and beverage type person let me know. :)
