Having Shiner Bock at home waiting for the wife to get here. Those Texans know how to make great beer ^^

You should try St. Arnold's (generally available only in the Houston area). IMO, it's the best craft brew in Texas. They don't pasteurize the beer, and don't ship out of Texas. At most grocery stores in town, it's rare to find a six-pack of St. Arnold's that's more than a month old.

List of Beers Here

I had to fight really hard not to post that.:D

Why? The Box appears to be a haven for unfiltered people (often as a result of enjoying unfiltered beer).

Sorry to hear BL JR is sick. Atleast she got sick this week instead of waiting until next weekend.

Next weekend would have been better - she was planning to stay home. And right now she prefers her nanny to me; I guess I've been home too long

Since when does serving Fosters qualify as operating as an Australian bar?? Do they get extra credit for Fosters Bitters? And they guy I am meeting who picked the place is late.

On the plus side, I've started drinking.

Tell the bartender you'll happily pay for a Fosters from Australia...
If they check, I'll believe you'll find it was made in North America.
I've had a few free beers that way.:D

Very late to the game, but I finally started drinking. A very large glass of wine. Also watching one of the greatest sports movies ever, Happy Gilmore :D

I just got the boarding pass ads and was reading through them.

The one that got my eye was the CO one that said "Other airlines want your business. Thanks for not giving it to them."

That is just too funnny in my opinion!

Most of the overseas beers are brewed under license here in North America.

Night, Box. I'll be my normal self when I get back to my house.

photog72: you're probably right. You know the guy and I don't. And I think you hit it on the head: weather geekery is a form of geekery that doesn't compute for me. The guy who got me started with hating the weather geeks was Paul Kocin.

I think I'm going to be in trouble next weekend drink wise. What a light weight I was tonight. I got seriously buzzed after two bud lights. Maybe the $1 price had something to do with it.
