I've read most of her books. She does have some interesting points and I love how she irates the Democrates to no end. I've also read Dick Morris's books and he really, really doesn't like the Clintons.

Morris is the only person that may be more annoying than Coulter to me. He has the same attitude on TV.

Really I just don't like talking heads of any kind, that is what it is.
I don't like ANY of them.

Oh wait, I kinda like Mike Rowe on dirty jobs :D

I can't speak for her writing, because I've never read any of her books. But I've seen her plenty of times on TV and at least there she really does come across as a holier-than-thou type who is way too full of herself, and lacking tolerance of those who disagree with her beliefs.

I'll readily concede the TV point. She expresses herself much better in print. And intolerance as you cite it is a perfect case of why faith and politics don't mix. Faith-based politics leads to faith-based opinions that fly in the face of common sense.

I will dispute this greatly, but not exactly how you may think.

True faith shows in your works, but is not works alone, NOR is it words which is what most of these 'faith based' advocates are, all WORDS. words are not faith.

Faith walked in the daily life can lead ones politics without being an ... about it, or standing as the supreme judge of all. Faith is a personal matter that has an outward expression though action that shows, and not through words. If someone is always talking about their faith I'd venture to tell you they have little to none, as they have to be haughty and proud to speak of it so regular.

oops I just got judgmental against them :D

I had it on several flights. The differences wer minor. It started simply with "Welcome Aboard." and w/o the CoEx stuffa the Embrer 145 was in a different spot too. The current annoucement sounds like the pre-fighting annoucement but with a different voice over person.

Good point. I like that. Misuse of religious citation combined with the arrogance that said misuse creates leads to most of the divisive speech out there.

Excellent point. You've boiled down the televangelism movement into one sentence.

yes, and my dad is a minister and thinks much the same about televangelist. HE used to turn them on to get some kicks out of them, now it just started to sadden him so many are on misleading.

I am a bit more libertarian than him in most things but he's coming around :D

I need to be careful here or someone will find me out :)

When it comes to politics, I am quite opinionated. If ever we go to far just tell me to stop. :)

No worries. Night box.

Greetings from the Bejing Air China L:rolleyes:unge. I got "upgraded" the first class lounge because there is no wireless in the biz lounge and all the wired plugs are . The first lounge is empty - other than that no discernable difference between the two - both have the stellar Great Wall wine.

I cannot get my ipod to shut off.

Bejing is not an easy airport to transit. I had to clear immigration; take a train, then a shuttle then check in land side; go through immigration and security again. Had I flown in on a plane in terminal 2, perhaps easier, but I'm used to simple transits like Hong Kong. Let's just say I'm glad I had a VERY long layover.

I don't think I'll be able to catch up on my eight days missed in the box but I'll do my best with pithy posts starting next week.

My flight is due in early and if possible I'm going to try and make the same flight Plus1 is on - the only problem is - if I do that, I may mess up his upgrade chances ;). He did clear HKG-EWR though, so hooray.
