Nice play. Catch is, I'm getting to the point where my network is almost intriplicate...I don't want to go thru the effort of closing and rebuilding a hub just for fun, and I don't want to fly pointless routes that just add lines to the map. I'm getting to the point where I'm running everything I can without buying more widebodies, and I don't want to buy more...they take too long, the ROI stinks, and it's not like I'll be playing AM the entire time while I'm in AMS.

We definitely bought one of those toy-sized ones to take home, with which my sisters and I enjoyed playing as kids. Still lives in my parents' house somewhere...

Don't do the $+miles weekend specials. You don't earn miles on them.

HA. Well played. ^
How was your blue nile experience? And congrats. I had it delivered to my workplace (a large hospital with many buildings). I was sitting in my office tracking the delivery the day of arrival and suddenly it listed as "undeliverable: wrong address". Apparantly the FedEx guy got frustrated and said I had listed "the wrong address" even though it was exactly the right place. Anyway, I called BN on the phone and while I waited the girl called FedEx, explained what was going on, and told the guy he had to go back to me. An hour later .....voila! Only downside is waiting for the miles to post....what's new. |

Only ~$130 more than the smaller one. No way I'd want to carry that big one around on a trip.

I have to admit, it's intriguing me. Overall slightly smaller than a sheet of paper but the additional screen real estate is ^.
So double the weight, too. Not a surprise since the screen is the heavy part (along with the battery). I don't think that it would be comfortable to hold or read from. The K2 reads like a paperback book in terms of screen size. Unless you want the text huge because your eyes are bad (or you're on the treadmill at the gym) I don't see as much of a need for the large page size. I don't like reading from hardback books because they are so big. |
Apparently the AmEx forum has decided that the new abbreviation for the Titanium card (issued for Centurion cardholders in the UK, among other places) is "tit" rather than Ti. It is very entertaining to read that forum now. :D
