Cookie Bouquet!! I got one with my new house in LAS Vegas!!

As luck would have it, the travel times that are required by this project are not served by AA, but sure are by CO :) The first two weeks they booked me include some B and Y fares as well...

Looks like I'll be fully back on the road starting Monday morning. ^

Are any PB-ers in DFW? I am guessing not...

I plan on being in DFW May 16-17/18th. Will you be in the area then?

(post 1800.....you lose Scott6067)

I once had to forgo a $2000 bump for staying 2 days at IAH and having CO pay me for hotels and food for the two days. This was after a $400 bump I took from the previous flight.

I through in the towel. Too busy with work not at my computer.

Over an hour in the box to catch up today. UGH!

Wow! $2K is a lot to 'forgo' -- you chose the hotel & food, instead?

Yep, it's a tough job to catch up on the box if you're not on-line!

Piggy flu, pillows & CO

Are there still pillows on CO TATL flights? Will there still probably be pillows on EWR-HAM on Saturday? I'd bring our own but we'd have to carry them around all day Sunday before we finally check in to our hotel, plus walking around the Reeperbahn w/ a pillow at the ready might be a bit too conspicuous.

Yes, there were blankets and pillows between EWR and FRA on Friday and Sunday.

Yes, there should be a pillow and blanket per seat .

are you flying BF or Y?

If BF HAM has shower facilities on arrival which is likely a day room(can spend several hours there) or lounge with showers.

No kidding. Although, I rarely fly them now living in ATL.

This is far from a done deal. All he's done is apply.

Have you been there???? "The funky (insert synonym for cat) club" stands out. Pillow and blanket is just par for the course.

I went back over to the UA forum to see what's happening with Mr. 1K and his self important rant over not getting off the standby list because of 4 non status but flying to SYD missing their connecting flight did.

He got his compensation. :td:

For EK rewards it is a good idea to sign up for a Skywards account and search them directly, much like QF rewards. The itinerary you got doesn't sound horrible but I agree that there is a bit more AF in there than I'd prefer. Are the EK segments in F or C?

Sure, but why spend hours in a day room when you could be our exploring HAM? The BF arrivals facility is the hotel just off the airport (Courtyard by Marriott, I think) and is about a 10 minute walk or a quick shuttle ride. I actually appreciated the walk as it plus the shower left me very refreshed and ready to go all day long.

And our hotel room was ready at 10am when we got into town. Even if it isn't I've never had a hotel tell me that I couldn't leave my stuff with them while tooling around.

MikeMpls, how long will you be in HAM? If you're interested I've written a first draft of a travel/tour guide for a day's worth of visits that I'd be willing to share if you want to give it a try and see how well it works. Let me know.
