Per WestJet's website and Wiki, Toronto-ACY service starts 22 October. I'm mildly shocked.

Yep.

WestJet was a nice airline, the one time I flew them. Kind of like WN, only for Canadians, and with TV and stuff. Oh, and everything is bilingual.

Hopefully I'll be seeing you there. ;)

How did you finagle a change w/ CO? Or, how are you going to finagle one?

*First use of the word finagle in the box in recent memory.

Isn't it about time for UA to do something stupid like run a mistake fare that books into C for travel from ATL to SYD/MEL/AKL? For around, $500, all in? I could use one of those right now.

Ooh, WestJet flies 737-600's. I have a hunch that they'll be operating that into ACY, since it's their smallest type.

Which is more Awesome™? US in Y, or WN?

Tough to choose, but if the goal here is EQM that would be credited to CO later in the year, I would choose US. Otherwise, I would take WN, with the ability to snag an exit row or the bulkhead.

Easy cause and effect relationship there, I say. I've been on an ERJ a whopping four times at 363 miles each, and I think I've scored one exit row. By the end of this year, that total might be five flights and it might be seven, but I expect the exit row count to remain at one. 12A might be PHL's toughest upgrade.

I've been on 4 ERJ's in one week. Long flights, EWR-BNA, EWR-MSP, EWR-RDU. I'm expecting EWR-MCI in October. Sitting at 12A can get real bumpy during turbulance. The ride smooths out row 8 and forward. That's why I sit in 5A.

I've been on CRJ's 4 times, longest being PHL-IND and all 4 flights were too long in my opinion.

Yep. One of the few airlines where you can get one.

Nothing like adding a new destination/plane to the FM line, right?;)

I think I once did 6 ERJs in one five day period.

I may be forced to book a CRJ flight in the next couple of weeks.

The best is when it's a new airline, new route, new airport on each end of the line, and a new aircraft type. That's the best!
