Plus of all places in Miami I liked the North Dade/Aventura area the best by far for the oceanside portion and Miami Lakes for the western portions.

Wave "hi" to my father as his condo looks down on Turnberry's golf course. You might want to take a jog on the loop surrounding the course/hotel (called Country Club Dr.). I think you'll like the eye candy. :D

Yep, saw that. CO should buy UA, combine our frequent flier accounts (Mileage Plus lifetime miles added to OnePass Million Miler qualifying miles, of course), keep EUA, not shrink the size of the domestic F cabins, and add E+ to all of the CO fleet. And, the UA Airbus fleet should have the F/E+/E- ratio adjusted to closely match the CO 737 fleet. Elites get E+ for free, and still qualify for EUAs as available. Best of both worlds. Get rid of UA's CR2s, I guess they can keep the CR7s , and definitely keep the E70s. Blow up the "temporary" terminal at IAD and replace it with something on the scale IAH E or the newer wing of EWR C. Fumigate and clean the dirty planes in the UA fleet (they are cleaner than they were), install DirectTV in all of the UA domestic fleet, and AVOD on all of the UA and CO 752/767/777 fleet. Wouldn't that make everyone happy?

Oh, and keep channel 9 and put it in every plane that doesn't have it already.

I've always managed to avoid the RJs on that route, and either gone nonstop on mainline, or via DTW on NW or ORD/IAD (or both) on UA. I've had many a  from the corporate travel agent, who once called to inform me (after ticketing) that I was crazy for flying to Detroit first to go to Raleigh from Houston. I did it just for the miles, the upgrades, and the DC-9s. I didn't tell them that though. Oh, and once I did RDU-MEM-IAH just to get the Avro RJ-85, and one of the last mainline MEM-IAH flights before it went all CRJ.

From what I understand, he was fine this morning. He's always fine though. It's the other two we worry about, who are freaked out that there's a new feline in the house. They preferred the old world order — two cats, two humans, and the humans gone most of the day on weekdays, and a couple of weekends a month. Made it easy for them to rule the joint. They haven't quite figured out how the newbie is going to fit into their universe.

If it was later in the year, you would be able to fly US and credit to CO. That's about the only good thing there.

No, and some of the really good vegan ice cream rivals the real stuff. But it's still hard to beat the real thing.

Per WestJet's website and Wiki, Toronto-ACY service starts 22 October. I'm mildly shocked.
