I've sent everyplace we might be going in and around EDI from Google Maps to the Garmin. (Purchased & loaded Europe a couple of weeks ago, along with the Good Pub Guide.)

My clothes are packed. I just have to get the golf bag ready. :D

Fremont and San Jose aren't exactly San Francisco. ;)

And there's always Caltrain to get down there.

But around the city itself, I'd prefer not to have to deal with a car and finding parking. It's really no faster, it's a lot more expensive, and it's just more stress.

Yes, yes and more yes. I can drive into The City but getting out is . The total lack of signs, the one way streets and looking out for the Cable Cars and Trolleys makes San Francisco difficult and let's not forget the hills.

I would be leery of driving in Delhi, but I have friends that will drive me there :D

I've driven in most every largish city east of Kansas City, with the exception of MSP and MKE.

My one excursion of driving in Miami wasn't too bad. Granted, it was mostly freeways to Miami Beach, and then navigating Collins Ave area.

MSP is an easy city to drive in - I don't mind it (and I hate city driving).

+ 1. How the heck does one shift using your left hand?

You wouldn't want to see my drive stick shift. Let alone left-handed...that could be disastrous.

I am not hanging in the city proper, so I need a car. going to Napa tomorrow :)

The weather is going to be warmer. You still might think it's cool out. All the wineries now charge for tasting. Usually $5 for 3-5 samples of their wines.

Gordon Bethune was in SF yesterday and someone said that he now owns a winery.

Have a great time.

Sounds like you need a trip to LBB to see the Buddy Holly Museum.

New line, new dot, sure why not.

I was looking at the site, what could they possibly talk about at the seminars ?

I watched a documentary recently about the evolution of the pr0n industry, and it would not at all surprise me if they were discussing how long they could hold off a switch to HD-standard production, and how to contain costs when you're really shooting about 12 projects at once. Some of the studios are at the point where their adult shoots have cameras that do not even have any naughtiness in the frame, since that footage ends up getting cut into a non-adult production. Free websites are cutting into the industry's margins to the point that the studios are shooting mainstream work on the adult sets at the same time that the adult content is happening. It's pretty interesting to see what the adult studios are doing to keep the adult side of the house afloat.

English bookies will take action on nearly everything.

Buddy Holly Story was excellent. Great show. I'd like to try to see it again before the run ends.

They must have tuned into the Box yesterday. I was kindof ignoring them since the launch was scrubbed again. Did I make a mistake??

No, it is scrubbed they were doing a mission update then went whack. it is doing looping repeats of training on video, but sounds like voices from mission control talking about plans. But so many people talking it is not understandable.
