Sometimes those 739s scare me when departing. Think those GEs are being pushed to the limit with the stretched 737? :)

My funnest departure out of SFO was on a fully loaded 733 that was a last minute swap for a 73G going to CLE. For one, I had no clue that the 733 had the legs for the trip. Secondly, I think we came damn close to dragging wheels in the bay as the pilot took just about every inch of the runway.

Last night's flight was a 757-300. Fully loaded with customers (2 short of full) and lots of bags.

That will do it. Boeing can only stretch those fuselages so far.....

I'd think a 733 or 735 would get off the easiest.....the 753...he did not accelerate as quickly as in the past, just did the turning rolling acceleration. I was wishing he's stopped and spun up before taking off after seeing the lights at the end of the runway out the window and feeling the gear come up right before the end.

There are a couple perros staying in the hotel room next to mine that have been barking since I got back to my room for the past hour.

If they're still going by the time I get back from the gym I'm switching hotels (I have 0 motivation to stay here another night. It's very ). Ugh. Traveling really 's sometimes.

sfogate what hotel do you recommend by SFO for a quick night stay?

Fiancee made fajitas, I made margaritas. The Texans would consider it a horrible attempt at mangling their food, but we quite much enjoyed.

I am about to go to the store and buy some groceries to make chunky tomato soup. Maybe a grilled cheese along with it too.

I always stay in the Doubletree south of the airport. Usually reasonably priced, regulary shuttle service, decent bar and close to Kincaids, a great place to eat (IMHO).

I'm debating whether or not to take my Reading and Math sections on paper or on computer.

I rocked the computer-based GRE but Praxis was only available on paper when I took the exam, and was only offered like once every 3 months ...

Praxis II's are only available IIRC seven times per year. Praxis I's can now be taken at any Sylvan learning center, with appropriate notice.

Not that I'm good at it, but I did better with brickbreaker using the scroll wheel than the trackball.:(

CO used 733's for years on CLE-West Coast flights before the 73G's were introduced to the fleet. In fact, it wasn't until 2000 or so that most of the CLE-West Coast flights had migrated to 73G's/8's.
