Page Visit # 1,000,000
Am only an occasional visitor to the box (and generally too scared to post, in view of the high levels of wit, knowledge et al there displayed), but wonder what will happen on thread view # 1,000,000?
Will it reset, or be a Y2K thing, and just roll on? P.S. If this has already been mentioned (and it is a very long thread), please ignore. |

I may need to try that line this weekend! The in-laws are going to be in town, so we're going up to CT to see the early fall foliage. I forgot how beautiful it gets up north, flying into BOS the other week was just georgeous. In my neck of the woods, it goes from green to dead. Nothing in between. :( |

I like it.
Or how about a coping guide called 'Why your luggage is in O'hare'. :D How about a book titled "Gaming the System: Forget Flying and Just Drive." |

SFO WX
Fly delays are getting worse. One flight CO548 diverted to LAS and is now arriving at 3pm instead of 12:14.
Currently arrivals from EWR are 2.0-2.5 hours late but IAH arrivals are still scheduled on time. I'm sure that will change if the weather is still bad. Atleast I won't have to water the grass for awhile. |
CO forum  I am going to try to get some sleep, doubt i can but trying. meds in effect.

ACER Fever
Well I have been wanted an ACER Netbook and I finally found a FTer way of getting one. Bought via AT&T store with a $100 rebate. Only concern is getting use to the keyboard but so far so good. I should state that I have a plan with ATT thast allows me to upgrade to any phone/device and thus used that upgrade to get the computer.
I also officially started my Chase poaching today! Signed up for the Chase Checking for 25,000 miles for $25. I think that is a good $ per mile ratio! :) He asked if I wanted to order checks and I wanted to say no in fact could you just shred all this paperwork and credit my miles and I will be happy. :) Other funny part is they offered to give me another credit card. CRAZYness. I have three with them right now, need to think about closing one but they wont offer me any type of balance transfers. Guess they lose more money on the balance transfers than the new CCs. BTW, Love this new computer already! |

I followed the link and I refuse to Tweet so I guess I'm just going to continue hoping that Randy picks me.

You would have to burn existing CR-1s, as they will no longer accrue.
Also, the [E]UA program includes up to one companion travelling on the same reservation. @:-) |
Speaking of hating contracts, I just had my friendly hard-ball call with Charter to discuss the possibility of me acquiring high speed internet through the electric cooperative.
I now get high speed internet and 69 channels of TV for $39.98 a month, $4.99 more than internet through the power company. |
I always thought it was settle for an Acer, not want one. Is this not the case any more? They used to be quite cheap.

My Acer Aspire One rocks - where I don't get free WiFi, I tether to the Blackberry. I hate contracts on devices ...

No word yet on how the companion bit will be implemented exactly. It could go a lot of different ways. And I am going to start calling it EUA now. |
