Oh I was looking in UA land and not here.

I'm playing in both. Why limit myself.

Others have pointed out some of the more hilarious opinions (Now everyone eligible will be competing for upgrades! How is that fair?) The overt slams at CO elites (if they let those people in, I'm out of here) are too precious.

I'm sorry, but I find it pretty damned funny.

I'm surprised that no one jumped all over the poster who said that WN is a viable option. And you're right: the diatribes are eerily similar to UA being the whitefolk and CO being the beaten and downtrodden black man. Except for one difference: at least in terms of the Forum, the UA whiteboys occasionally liked to turn the fire hose on certain of their own people.

Haha.

I am all for polarizing and all against globalizing, ^
People are different let them be so, it doesn't mean you have to actively turn the magnets all the time :)

I'm sure they'll be very happy with the middle seat back row of a 737 where the seats are narrower with two line backers on each side of them. Or they could be over one seat and be the stink shield. :rolleyes:

Here's one:

On some equipment yes I would. I may be in the minority, but I would actually prefer 9C on a 2 class 757.

Depending on the flight (meal?redeye?snack?) I will put 9C and a luxe box/red wine combo up against most aspects of the F cabin:
*legroom->9C
*food-> 9C (depending on what is served in F, and it will cost you $15 bucks)
*embark/disembark-> 9C
*seat size->F cabin
*warm nuts-> F cabin ;)

Anyway, yeah I would take 9C over F on most 757 flights even as a 1K with instruments in hand.

I'm :confused:, how is that an advantage?

*embark/disembark-> 9C
I'd trade those 30 seconds for F any day.:rolleyes:

I never said that the post made sense. I simply am pointing out that one of them actually prefers Y.

But it is quite entertaining to read some of their posts where they try to justify why scheming and manipulating is a better solution - because it is better for them personally.

They worked hard to acquire the knowledge and it is being rendered irrelevant. As I've said before and will surely say again, I am thrilled that said knowledge base will become extinct because with it disappears their MO for making people feel unwelcome and stupid. Their arrogance, haughtiness, and self-importance goes right down the toilet...with their presence on FT, hopefully.

I am taking great joy in seeing their world as they know it basically collapse. They all knew it was coming and refused to believe that they were contributing to it. The death of anything that is built on a foundation of hubris makes me incredibly happy.

I'd be willing to bet that some of the people in that thread who prefer Y would fail a posting history fact check. They all of a sudden prefer Y because C and/or F may or may not be populated with invaders from CO, who in their eyes are not as good and decent of a human being.
