I'll pass on their credit card and take 75,000 for 12 stays. :D

The current award charts have been there since 2004. I don't think this is much worse than other adjustments that have happened within similar programs in recent years.

One reason I'm very grateful Hyatt hasn't introduced a credit card.

The Sofitel I used to stay in EZE is not a sofitel anymore, It was a boutique hotel called Hotel Madero By SOFITEL, it was ^

It hasnt come out yet but I cant see how it can be for the better. Im sitting on 600,000 points. At least I switched to the SPG AMEX rather than building that balance to over 800k.

There's an Opportunity-level Hampton Inn en route to my next Do. I'm thinking of replacing a Hyatt stay  to burn off HHonors points prudently. I'll easily find another way to pick up a cheap Hyatt en route to another event this year.

Did you guys see that HHonors are devaluing their points....again?

Meh. I'll never build up enough to really get a ton of use out of HH - it's just nice for me/us to have a few free nights in the bank.

That is funnier than any insulting post in the UA thread. Did you post that over there?

Your desire to make those points the most expensive for Hilton just got a little harder to carry out.

The Hilton website says one can still make the reservation by January 14, 2010 on the current rates - all hope isn't lost.

Indeed. Referring to oneself as Lurkmaster General does not have the same ring to it.

It wasn't many years ago that I never let an account have more points / miles than would be required for a few nights or few flights. I used to keep just enough AA miles to always be able to book an award for a family emergency.
