I still miss some of the stores I shopped at in Houston. Although, the DeKalb Farmer's Market here is making up for some of that.

Yes it is! We have a couple of bottles in the fridge here.

Tonight was margarita night. We opted to try a fairly new Mexican place that has a huge menu of margaritas and lots of different soft tacos. Not the absolute best tacos ever, but pretty damn good, and incredible by Atlanta standards. My mouth was on fire at one point because these tacos actually had spice. Usually here they're just as bland as they can be. My partner even said it was almost as good as some of the Mexican I've taken him to in Texas. We'll definitely be hitting this place again.

It's about time you found a good Mexican place!

Sounds like we might have to have a "Let's vist BagHQ DO" to visit the Kroger!

Stores much worse down by Baltimore and DC. At least with Wegmans slowly moving in it's causing Giant to clean up their act a bit.

I have one near my fiancee that is in a pink house. We've been meaning to go for quite some time but always end up at the chain that is less expensive and much more convenient. It's good, but I'm in the mood for great.

Overhead on UA channel 9 on my ORD-ATL flight this afternoon:

"OK everyone, quit getting your panties in a wad and quit asking me when you'll get out of the turbulence, or if there's a smoother ride. You're crossing a major cold front. It's going to feel like sh!t up there for about 5-10 minutes as you cross. Just grow a pair and hold on tight and deal with it. You're all big boys and girls. Once you cross over it's fine. It doesn't matter if you cross at 20 or 30 or 40. It sucks no matter what."

This was as we crossed the frontal boundary that's the result of much of the weather  going on across the nation. I got the pleasure of crossing it twice today — headed north in an EMB-170 on MSY-ORD and a few hours later headed south on an A-319 on ORD-ATL. I seriously sucked both times. I thought the little EMB-170 was going to roll over at one point as we descended through that mess. The ATC who said that seemed pretty hacked at all of the requests for changes in altitude to try and escape the severely bumpy ride.

Went to a Giant in Va and walked out, think I ended up getting frozen veggies at target superstore instead of at giant, it looked horrible. this in a rather upscale area

I decided that I'm going to treat this like the BTS treats their data -- I'm going to do it on a lag. Here we are up to 75K.

Tell me about it! We have a few that are decent, but this was a really nice surprise. And, the service was great as well. The menu is somewhat limited, and the chips are only served if you order (and pay for) salsa or queso, but they were top notch too.

Dublin Dr. Pepper is the best. On the drive back to Victoria with ALCO in July we stopped for beverages in Goliad and I was thrilled to find Dublin Dr. Pepper in the convenience store we hit.
