On 2nd Avenue, there's a nice sushi place; West End has F Scotts (my favorite BNA restaurant, half off food if seated after nine) and Restaurant Zola. |

No, I wouldn't waste beer that way. Wine may be acceptable for stew, but I have difficulty sacrificing a good beer. Sometimes I'll use some in my batter for chicken-fried steaks, but that's it.
