Chicago is #1 when it comes to sales tax; 10.5%. If you try to catch us, our County Board president, "The Toddster" will just raise ours some more.

Frankly, "teh Box" is a bunch of verbose Barbarians who can't even spell one of the most common words in the English language, and the malady appears to be unrepairable.

I haven't been here in months, but after that rousing approval I new I had two pop in.

We've built quite the reputation, huh? I wonder what his beef is.

Good morning, Box. The sun is rising in IAH, land of the electric carts coming through, while there seems to be a problem with airport displays. Information monitors are blank, gate displays too.

Maybe he was mad that we got a shout out from the stage at CO Do IV and he didn't?

In any event, I've always found the vast majority of us to be somewhat scholarly in our various fields and able to communicate effectively, if not admirably given how much we drink. Well, except for :rolleyes:v, he is a normal dude like the rest of us but posts like a drunk 12 year old. :D

Just cranky on the best of days I suspect.

In NYC they are open till 4 AM. ^

Bars can be in many cases but I've yet to find a standalone store that is. Many are open late (midnight-ish) but not too often 4am. At least they are finally open on Sundays now.

They went out and bought a bunch of grit with not much consideration for the salary cap (ref: Pronger, Chris) -- I don't think they have enough cap room three seasons from now to even ice a full squad.

Thankfully -- I will get my vote in after I weigh the candidates. Is there a Box-endorsed group?

That's a great idea. If the Box had a sizable number of people run for TalkBoard... <evil grin>

This is very true. The international stuff is not sent to India. I guess they are afraid of someone actually routing a ORD-SFO flight through NRT. :D

Btw, I completely spaced, but happy bday!

Thanks! And yeah, International was the easiest way to get a domestic agent. And I didn't at all feel guilty in wasting their time.

Morning, Box.

I met him at the Brooklyn Reality Tour -- don't know about 'fun' -- but seemed fine -- heard about the MSP whines. I thought about 'commenting' -- but figured that maybe it's just an off-day for him!

G'morning, B:rolleyes:X! Been another long break away from technology!:-: It's good for the soul, sometimes;)

UA still has mainline to MSP, just ask all the people doing MSP-GEG runs. :D

For CO, i'm not surprised, they got a fair bit of their passengers from NW and now with that relationship ending, their markets have shrunk drastically. Take that and all the 733/735 retirements and there are just fewer aircraft to go around. At least they didn't end up with a Q200 or Q400 like DCA and BOS.

I suspect all of us(*) would be cranky if someone came in and bent over CO and took all the things we like away from us.

(*) - box members. We all know there are enough bitter ex'es floating in the regular forum who have decided to go the way of UA or B6.
