Quality, but the battery thing can be annoying. The A series is not much larger generally and does AA batteries. Nice on long trips or remote trips.

They've got a Pot Belly's shop in one of the terminals. And the moon buggies are gone. I've never cleared immigration there but otherwise it is just another crappy airport. No better nor worse than many others.

Also acceded to comments about battery life / proprietary batteries and went with one that takes standard rechargeables.

I think it's what Gershwin would've written had he been been alive when the great jazz of the '50s/60s was written.

I saw him perform it with his trio and the Chicago Symphony a couple years back as a Christmas gift from my in-laws. If you have any appreciation for jazz, get it.

In all fairness to IAD, it is Terminal A with UAX that is really the stinker. Mainline operations are much better in the other terminals. I just have awful luck with IAD, and I was connecting into it via Mesa which is not exactly the greatest regional in the world. I grant a full YMMV.

Ahhh, mile coupons. I remember when the airlines would send you 5k coupons after every 5k you earned.

Not completely true. The big difference is that you don't need to outlay the cash for the more expensive fare thus playing the chance game.

Honestly, a AA/UA style SWU would be nice, but it will be hard to get. I would honestly also be happy having vouchers that eliminate the cash portion and just let me upgrade outright with miles.
