Empty guest room for sleeping?

Sure; but I don't want to do that either. I want my bed with my tv. Off to operate! Wish me luck. If you don't here from me tomorrow; I've fallen and I can't get up ;)

Location, upgrade potential, decadence, ease of access(via train\subway)

Will need 4 nights total- 12\24-26 and 12\27-28

Leaning towards\Current Status\Pts required per 2 night stay
* Park Hyatt\Plat\36,000
might buy 3 stays at HP here in RDU for 2 FFN rewards(have 1 night)
* Westin\Plat\40,000
Boy the other properties sure are less, is the Westin all that?
The Grande Bay seems :rolleyes: too close to Disney, I picture lots of screaming kiddies
*Conrad Tokyo\Silver\80,000
No status but a gazillion HH points that are going to be devalued

Also have a 1 night stay in HKG on 12/26, believe I'm going to burn my SPG free night cert at The W :D

Conrad Tokyo is in a great location, near the train, great exec lounge, fun bar and nice sized rooms.

Is this a standard 8 foot ceiling or :confused:

I'm out for the evening as well.

I am not a star struck person and hate the obsession for stars... :rolleyes:

I did a long project for one of the studios at their offices in BH. The lurking photogs were just plain scum.

My oh my what an interesting evening sitting outdoors at a football stadium where, as others have so well pointed out, only one offense showed up to play.

No; I don't believe we have an 8 foot ceiling anywhere in the house though I could be wrong; but I was on the top of the ladder with my arms completely stretched above me so, more than 8 feet. After opening it; pushing the button that is to open the battery cover and then giving up and ripping it out of the ceiling; the one upstairs is now beeping as well. I'm p!$$ed that Plus1 didn't change the batteries at the time change but I guess that is a mute point! I don't think I can even reach the one upstairs, so will close my door, put earplugs in and hope for the best (and may have a strong cocktail before bed, but not strong enough that I can't be woken by jr.). I'll get my neighbor to help me out in the morning worst case scenario.

baglady Nov 16, 2009 10:58 pm

I was wrong, I believe it's still the one downstairs that is beeping. How is it still beeping when I unplugged the wiring?
