We have a small mechanical problem-with one of the weather instruments- and we're just waiting on a replacement part to be sent over from stores. "Once" it gets here, shouldn't take long to install and we'll be on our way to New Orleans, once airborne flight time will be 42 minutes

CO?

I learned how to eat crawfish in New Orleans while completely hammered at JazzFest. That explains the technique.

That trip was the first (and last) one where I drank every day before breakfast and didn't stop until bedtime.

Hello Box. So what's new since 2 PM? I'm too tired from running around to look.

I think I had sobbered up by the time I had crawfish.

Ironic that you've got a problem with a weather instrument and your captain shares a name with the guy who recorded "Ain't No Sunshine".

And for "JazzFest" substitute "Mardi Gras" or "LSU football gameday", and there you have the years 2006-2008 of my life...

And that is what JazzFest is all about! We've been 3 times and hope to go back this spring. ^^

Yes it is Wagyu/kobe, American kobe=wagyu :D

Giving you a hard time - I think you originally advertised as a potential Wagyu Do (and the airfare from BNA sucked).

Crawfish is good, fresh water shrimp :) I don't really suck the heads unless it has been cooked a long time in a soup and got lots of seasoning

Then again, I read that some people go into the nicer chinese restaurants and order tempura shrimp heads.

I've never been or had any interest in going to Mardi Gras (a little too crazy for me). Mom GadFly is an LSU alum so I'm sure she could tell some stories......

Mackieman Oct 15, 2009 8:39 pm

I would really, really love to go to JazzFest.

I'd be willing to pick you up at DFW if it were to come about....

I did have to grind up some of the smaller bits of Pyrex in the garbage disposal today ...
