I wish that statement were true for me at this point. I feel rather like a tool, seeing as how I used to do TV production and I can't make this system behave.

You don't have too, but it would help in debugging. I currently have my DVD player connected to the TV with a HDMI cable, but sometimes it forgets to kill the HDMI audio so I have to go into the set up to turn it off again. :mad::mad::mad: I'm just thinking of less potential future hassle.

i have no desire to visit their ACY lounge....I will visit IAh and switch the media room TV off fox news, thanks. :D

speaking of the media room the last two times I went in their is was on MTV and some insanely stupid alex chun show or something....

It's your mom's right? Just use any set of RCA cables that you may have hanging around (the yellow/red/white ones). Since you're not hooking up the audio the extra expense for 5 cable components isn't worth it. :-:



As for monster cable, this is a neat story about them. Long story short: ex-litigator gets into the cable business and gets a C&D from Monster. He writes back, they don't. :D:-:^
