Starwood Lurker II can't tell us how close a Preferred member needs to be to Gold to be eligible for this promo. :( I've always thought they were crazy, but I think I might do a mattress run or two this weekend to get Gold so I can be guaranteed the promo and Plat by the end of the year. SPG Plat seems worth the extra ~$200 that it would cost me...
ETA: Nevermind, I may have already missed the cut... Who is eligible to take advantage of the Nights Count Double promotion? All Gold members and Preferred members who are close to Gold status by September 2, 2009. All eligible members must register for the promotion by November 30, 2009. |

Thanks ALCO. Now I can justify the higher rates :) |

Airport....any problem in 45 connection between really low As and high As if no delay? I don't think so but just want to check.

My mother on social networking: "Twitter is the perfect name for it. It's full of twits. I'd rather be twitless." (Said after seeing the Verizon commercial with the Tweeting father.)

I wonder if I should go on a posting run. 85K is just around the corner.

I don't know how you're predicting low/high A's though - DTW is probably the worst I can think of with gate changes and plane substitutions. |

I think the towel has been thrown in on this home theater system. Fooling with cabling connections has led me to believe that the TV is not capable of handling the strength of the audio output from the surround system.

I cannot keep what little sanity I have left and also do a run to 85K all on my own. I'm going to need some help. :p

It's better when you're not doing it alone at 3AM EDT. :-:

If we're talking domestic-to-domestic and there are no delays and you take the train, you should still be there early enough for breezeway boarding. I once made 36 minutes officially - slightly less actually as incoming was late - B to end of A. I might look at another itinerary if this was the absolute last flight to your destination (or co-terminal) of the day.
I don't know how you're predicting low/high A's though - DTW is probably the worst I can think of with gate changes and plane substitutions. I just looked at the last week of flights, I know it is not fully correct just seeing if it can be done easily really. Not last flight of the day, mid day flight, so not worried at all. thanks for the help to you and sdm. |

Actually, I think there's better things to be doing alone at 3AM instead of posting in FT. :o:D:-:

Have to love DL and continuation flight numbers. As my first flight tomorrow is potentially oversold, I was looking at other opportunities ... There's an MD-88 where DL's only selling J inventory.
