Don't you love roundabouts! They are really good at controlling traffic. Unfortunately, most Americans I know, go completely wobbly-bonkers when faced with a roundabout!!

The roundabouts were a bit tougher than the ones I'd experienced in NJ. Especially the ones with 5 possible exits! I also liked the ready-steady-go of the traffic lights; kind of like the tree at a dragstrip. :D

heh Ibex runs CR1s and CR2s from NRT.

Other thoughts:

1) Calling NRT a Tokyo airport is like calling PIT part of Cleveland.

2) I would pee myself watching PAX reactions here in the States if they were forced to have their temperature checked.

3) It is stunning to see Korean fill a 744 for a flight to NRT on a Saturday afternoon.

4) Tipping the Executive Lounge staff does wonders for your consumption factor.

5) We need to do a Box trip to Macau!

6) I am glad I do not need to look at the Korean blue interiors on a regular basis. Yikes!

7) Why can't everyone take pride in their work?

8) Still wondering what value the concierge's add to my BF experience...

1) Fly WN nonstop (2 hours)
2) Fly FL nonstop (2 hours)
3) Connect on CO (7 hours total with these people, and a trip through EWR or a Q-200 to CLE)
4) Fly US and connect in CLT (5 hours)
5) Try to catch the swine flu about 3 days before the trip.

I'd go for option 3. Enjoy the show of the kettles on the Q-400, hope you don't misconnect, and take your EUA seat in F to MCO while everyone else sits back in Y :D

I'm curious to see what happens with my flights next week. As of now, my flight for Monday hasn't been upgraded, and usually in the past the upgrade for that flight has come on Wednesday evening. Right now F is pretty empty, with only a couple of seats sold. We'll see what happens.

I'm on an an L fare CO1520 (SNA-IAH) on 9/14 in Y (Ms. GadFly is already in F on a reward ticket). According to seatcounter, the F seats available went from 7 to 1 in a span of 2 days days and I'm one of 4 people with an exit row. I'm thinking we won't be sitting together for this flight .

Perhaps a certain SFO Gate agent can perform some shenanigans and op-up me in advance?? :p

After Concierge Mike's excellent photo last night, of the new CO European strategy, I thought I'd post a photo of some guys making a little of their own weather.

I wish I knew how to make it show rather than just link, but oh well.

Sigh, why must all these gatherings occur during trips I've planned six months prior....
