Look what you all made me ask.

You Asked: what row is the famous stink shield row?
Alex: I have not been trained on this subject yet. Use the feedback link and tell me more about the type of information you are looking for.

That is a very cool itinerary, and I believe all the UA 763s are refurbished.

It looks like there is a nice Sheraton in Pretoria. That could make for an interesting stay.

Interesting deal - $1280 gets you 100k miles. A NA to Africa :-: redemption is only 110k...

Yeah, and NA to Europe J is only 80K. I'm not sure I like what this promo says about their solvency, so I wouldn't book too far out on this one.

Biz cabin roundtrip to Africa for about $1400 in miles purchases? That's insane.

And very tempting... Especially when I already have over 10k in a US account...

All these questions posted to Alex are quite funny. They remind me of my youth. Friends and I would call information - 411, and ask for INFORMATION. We would ask all sorts of , but real questions. Since I was a car nut, What is the top speed of a 1988 Ferrari 328GTS? Of course the operators would always explain that they give phone number and address information, not general information.

*The answer to that question above is 165 mph. I didn't have to look up the answer either - sad.

Would solvency be a nonissue if there was no US metal in the reward? Even if US did die by the time your trip came around, couldn't someone else in Star pick up the ticket? The reward is paid for, albeit in miles, at time of booking or confirmation.

Once the flights are booked with another Star carrier, don't they need to honor it even if it was booked using US miles?

You Asked: Did you film the Erin Andrews video?
Alex: I'm not sure how to answer that. I understand simple questions best, can you try asking that in a different way?

You Asked: Would you like a great big sausage?
Alex: Please check out this page to learn more about our free meals at mealtime. For our BusinessFirst menu selections, follow the link below.

You Asked: Am I acting juvenile?
Alex: All children over the age of two are required to purchase a ticket and occupy their own seat. For infant ticketing information please see this page. Follow the link below if you are looking for information concerning children traveling alone.

I would assume so as well. If it has been ticketed and confirmed, the transaction is complete and the CoC for the operating carrier kicks in.

What would Teh Box think of a routing that did...

IAH-ORD-IST (7:30 layover)-JNB-XXX; (2 day Stay) XXX-JNB-EZE-IAD-IAH

TK J, SA J on A342, and UA J on a 763 (hopefully refurbed).

This itinerary better still be available by the end of the month when I can book it...

I approve, if you can get into J on the 342... i have yet to find any space.

Btw, all the UA 763s are done and there are 4 744s that aren't and none of the 777s and no time soon.
