Thanks to both of you. I've got this future-planning bug...I know that as soon as I start making real money again, I'm going to get a new pistol. I want something that I like now and will enjoy, but I also want something that will transition to a carry rig easily should I move out of Teh Peeple's Republik. SR9 seems to fit that bill the best, in addition to not having the wallet-destroying qualities of Sig or Kimber. I also want something that my fiancee can grow into, as she is still happy at the .22 level. As for something inexpensive now, I learned long ago that you get what you pay for so it's best to buy quality and if need to, save up for it. In the long run you'll be much more satisfied. |

US is offering a double miles promotion on purchased miles for now. Halves the 2.5cpm fee to 1.25 cpm plus $30 fee (plus some excise 'tax', I think). 50K mile limit (+50K bonus) 'per transaction.' US' award chart isn't too bad...

Glad I checked FT today. Promted me to check CO.com again for my CLE-SFO trip. $218 rt works out great considering same flights were approx $350 last month.
