71 hours out and no EUA for me, lots of seats open. :( Was hoping my first experience as a Gold would be fantastic.

Losing the ability to do both an open jaw and a stopover would be especially bad.

No. Don't waste their time or yours. They aren't equpiied to handle it and you'll just get bounced between them and co.com support with everyone insisting that you are on the list because they see you as EUA-eligible.

Once the flights are booked with another Star carrier, don't they need to honor it even if it was booked using US miles?

I have always heard that payment for flights happens when the actual person takes the actual flight.

And that the same happens with award tickets. I have been holding my breath for quite a while burning the US miles and all they need is to last until mid-December for me to have cashed out completely.

Why can't I find Alex on the preview site (other than pure stupidity)?

How many miles is it for a UA East Coast-SYD in F ?

I think that it has been stepped up to 150 since I did that number at 125 booked May '08.

It would be nice if the airline were stable enough and had a decent enough product to in turn call the FFP a decent place to park one's miles. If the reward chart on US looks anything like the reward chart on CO once they come to Star, CO will hopefully be the hot new program for :-:A rewards.

I have always maintained around here the the US Dividend Miles are the most valuable of all domestic miles since the *A chart is adhered to and if there is anything at all showing, the US agent will give it to you.
