Poo. Guess you can't make this year's much better done attempt at The Box goes to see The Devils.

When I was a kid, the first hockey game I ever saw in person was The Rangers at MSG. The only Devil's game I'd go to is one where they're playing the NYR. That being said, the last time I went to see that matchup, we left after the second period since the Rangers were down by 4

Thanks for the info. Hopefully I can make it to a gig in the not-too-distant future! Am going to COS this week, & am partaking in an FT dinner w/Capt Flanagan in DEN on friday!^

Sounds like fun...enjoy Denver!! On Friday, I'll be hoping my SYR-EWR flight doesn't get so delayed that I'm late for my own gig .

You never told me how Earth, Wind, & Fire with Chicago was.....good show??

I have never left a hockey game early, win or lose. That policy has paid off, too. I stayed for all three overtimes of the second-round series clinching game against Tampa Bay in 2003, and later met the guy that scored that winning goal when he was a guest at Tropicana.

She's been a lot of fun and I'm going to miss her when she leaves.

You are going to love it! He is an amazing man and a fantastic ambassador for UA. His FO from our dinner in Dec. was very easy on the eyes ;)

I don't fly UA, but I'm intrigued by Denny Flanagan.

The EW&F/Chicago show was amazing -- you would've loved it! Nothing like the brass section from both bands performing on stage at the same time! My son thought it was so cool -- having front row seats didn't hurt either!:D

Not compared to when I was 22

I must say that you are "well preserved" too.

I'm usually the same way...but this particular game was extremely . I've stayed at Yankee Stadium when they were down by 12, I've watched the last pitch when the Trenton Thunder lost by 10, and I've seen The Rangers lose by quite a bit.....but this game was at "The Arena Formerly Known As Brendan Byrne & Continental", I was wearing a Rangers jersey (Adam Graves if memory serves), and the crowd was getting pretty hostile.

I wouldn't describe what I did as "leaving early"....it was more like "escaping"

He is amazing. If all UA folks were like him, they'd be a great airline to fly. He truly cared what people had to say and patiently answered everyones questions. A great guy ^

Sounds like a lot of fun....I've never performed with a brass section (although I have been known to toot my own horn :p:rolleyes::td:). I don't have tix for any concerts coming up. My bass player saw McCartney at Citi Field the other night but didn't offer me a ticket when he got them . I heard Billy Joel showed up and played on a couple songs.
