Amazing, isn't it? One of my friends is about to become a grandmother and one person from my class has been a grandmother for over 5 years (so her grand child is the same age as my child :eek: ); though she started very young.

Back from an incredible, but quick, 36 hours in Santa Fe, NM. We arrived late Friday night, and then spent Saturday enjoying brunch at Tia Sophia, exploring the Plaza, shops, and Canyon Road, hiking in the mountains, and then relaxing for a couple of hours at Ten Thousand Waves Spa (private hot tub room ^^^ followed by some time in the sauna and laying out on the communal hot tub patio). Now back home, and headed back to New Mexico again tomorrow for work. Yes, I flew ABQ-IAH-ATL today, followed by ATL-IAH-LBB and a drive to Clovis, NM tomorrow. But had I not come home, it would have meant a solid two weeks of not seeing my own home, and hauling around enough clothing for two weeks of work, plus two weekend trips, and I wasn't willing to do that. Besides, there's a lot more miles in it this way, and my client in Portales, NM is buying these tickets.

Anyway, it was a great trip. Now to plan the next one.

I would say that a good number of the guys who showed up for reunion had shaved heads by then. They seemed fine with it, though. I just wasn't prepared for it!:eek:
