Alex was answering questions about the onboard sewer water(coffee) but got this one totally wrong!

But it's cheaper than me buying BF :)

It's high from a mileage running standpoint, but good from an upgradeable, 150% EQM-earning flight to Asia standpoint, IMO.

That was my thought. It's not a true mileage run because we'd spend a couple of days there; more going past the Gold.

The BF segments are not upgradeable correct?

They are upgradable and I included the $100 cost to upgrade in my price above.

I think baglady was referring to a mileage upgrade, as opposed to a B-up. A mileage upgrade would, of course, be possible for the BF segments.

Correct. The domestic segments would be b-up as not available with mileage upgrade.

US charges 90K for business to North Asia (North Asia includes China, Hong Kong and Japan.) @:-)

Suddenly, the Box becomes interested (not very interested, but interested) in the much-maligned US.

Sounds like a great deal to get to HK in BF baglady!

It would be nice if the airline were stable enough and had a decent enough product to in turn call the FFP a decent place to park one's miles. If the reward chart on US looks anything like the reward chart on CO once they come to Star, CO will hopefully be the hot new program for :-:A rewards.

Seriously. I only had to do it once - in a panic after getting to Princeton Junction and finding NO parking spots at all and realizing that I was about to miss the last train that would get me to EWR on time. I didn't know what parking cost at the airport and almost had a heart attack when I saw the signs on approach... (this was when I got onto the airplane about 2 minutes before the door closed)

I'm left-handed but RIGHT-eye dominant, but the right hand has worked fine for shooting so far.

90K for UA C TPAC via ORD or SFO is spectacular.

I know....

I would consider re-depositing my CO reward to HKG and get in on this.

HAHA! You're so funny CM... :D

I have a feeling CO's Star reward chart is not going to be too pretty.
