Good for you! What kind of flowers did you get? Am planting some geraniums now.

Vinca for the front as they are the only thing that can take the afternoon sun, easy to maintain, and the deer and bunnies don't eat them. I haven't been able to find them for the past few years so I was flowerless. Then I got some New Guine impatients for pots on the patio. The deer and bunnies don't like them either. I just have to keep them in the shade or they wilt real quick.

I'm getting over my cold and was hoping to finally find time to roto-till and plant our vegetable garden this weekend. I hope it doesn't rain much...

My garden is already producing tomato, pepper, onion and garlic, first squash and zucchini will be ready in next days they are fingerlings now. Rain/hail almost destroyed them but 24 hours later they perked back up, snipped a few dead portions off and it just stunted them a week or so ago.

My father used to have an employee with a white Crown Victoria. The guy would drive as fast as he liked and was never pulled over for speeding.

I had a black Crown Vic. 90 in the left lane of the Parkway right thru the traps. Nowadays I have to settle for having the special New Jersey license plates that indicate connection to a state Senator's office.

I wish they had that law in Washington State and Oregon. Driving around Seattle, it seems that everyone parks in the left lane and does the speed limit. You can tell the Eastern-bred drivers like me by watching cars weave in and out of traffic using all lanes.

The one thing I hated about Seattle was that very thing. It's almost as if the native drivers have been scared into submission by the state or something.

Glad to hear that the extractions went smoothly. They didn't pull the other two at the same time? When my daughter had hers done -- all four came out at the same time. Lots of ice cream & soft foods!

All four of mine came out at the same time, and I kept them. Wanted to make a necklace out of them but never did.

I usually try to plant around May 1 even though the last frost here is about the 15th. I was away so much I just didn't have time, and when I was home it was raining.

I just put in my tomatoes last night. I'm hoping we don't have a repeat of Monday's 35 degrees.

I've got mine here somewhere. They came out just fine.

My son has really big teeth. He had to have 4 removed when he had braces and the only reason why he got the bottom two taken out yesterday is because they were impacked but their roots hadn't secured themselves to his jaw. His dentist said it would be easier to take them out now instead of later, when she knew she would have to bust his wisdom teeth to get them out.

I had all 4 of mine removed at once and the longest part of the procedure was getting the numbing shots.

He has vicoden for pain but so far hasn't asked for any today.

The cheating customer:

He booked himself into F using a postive upgrade certificate. Shows up at the ticket counter to get checked in. He is asked to turn over the certificate and claims that CO told him to mail it in. That isn't our policy and never has been so the agent calls reservations help desk to see if they know more than we do. The ticket counter advises the customer that he must turn in the certificate or we would have to downgrade him back to his original class of service: Y. He storms off and now I get to deal with the problem, as the GA in charge of the flight.

Long story short, after much verbal abuse, holding his breath and jumping up and down he didn't get what he what he wanted. I did get him to hand over a certificate that expired in 2006! He departed sitting in coach.

There is more to this story but I don't feel comfortable posting it for the world to read. Let's just say the WECARE-2 has now been introduced to the customer, by me. :D
