I've also noticed a new fleet of unmarked Dodge Chargers patrolling the 287/Route 9 area. The first day I saw them there were 3 different cops that had pulled someone over. |

A. Here's the former mayor of nearby town. B. And when the speed trap in town was shut down, they unlawfully did traffic enforcement on the Interstate. |

Down to two idle 762ER's in World 1.0, and I just ordered 2 CR1ER's for world 2.0. Should be fun competing against Airline Mogul's resident megalomaniac.
They have not rplied to request for info, and are doing well coming from behind at CDG :) |

Or he was wearing Zebra pants (I call them my cock fighting pants). Apparently in NY it's encouraged to drive erratically / speed up when in the vicinity of an emergency vehicle. I can't find the rule anywhere on the books, but since everyone does it, it must be correct. |

Oh, and it's "Click it or ticket" week, so be prepared for checkpoints this weekend. My favorite was in SC when they'd run Z3 BMW's (they got for free from the plant in Spartanburg) as "rabbits" down I95. You'd follow thinking if anyone was going to get pulled over, it would be the lead car. They'd get a nice parade of cars behind them and everyone would get pulled over. I think they eventually ruled it was entrapment. But the practice went on for at least a few years. |

Thankfully, going 75 or 80 on the NJ Turnpike doesn't seem to generate tickets.
Speaking of booking it, I still can't decide whether to drive or train/subway/bus to LGA for my 5:45 am flight tomorrow. If I weren't on duty till 10:30 PM tonight I would have seriously considered going up this evening and spending the night in a hotel. Either way, there's going to be minimal sleep. |

There might be a few unsavory characters using mass transit at that hour of the night. |

Amen. Like when I'm booking it to PHL. Not that that ever happens.

They would then radio another car with the speed info. :td: |

In my area of Maryland, there would be a broken down car on the side of the road for days; it would later be replaced by a cruiser of the same color. The Maryland State Police also could park in the median parallel to the road surface during certain seasons and be essentially invisible. I think it's the only reason for the green body of the vehicle.
