I'm now 15+ behind schedule and I don't think I had that much of a buffer to work with. And no intl OLCI from AA doesn't help. I should be at the airport already and instead just cleared the Pulaski skyway.

Trying to remain calm.....

Have a fantastic trip and have plenty of fun playing around with the fishies.

Good morning box, looks like everyone is awake early today.
We are off to the airport now, still hoping for companion upgrade.

I'm crawling back to bed. At least I've been productive for past 2.5 hours.

The traffic through the tunnels can be extremely unpredictable, even at bizarre hours like 4:15am

Judging from your lack of posting now, I am fairly that you made your flight. :)

Did you encounter the ridiculously long security line leading up to the AA gates? I am sure you figured it out, but I forgot to mention when you enter the TSA security lane, the lane on the right side is the shortest.

Have a great time in San Pedro and remember to get a bad case of “gate lice” for the tropic air flight to San Pedro and get yourself in a position to quickly jump in the co-captains seat.

I have been at work, but not productive.

Ohhhh. Good luck! I know how frightening that is...I'm sure we've all been there.

I HOPE not to be there in slightly over 18 hours!

Companion upgrade cleared after much shennanagii. The agent told me no I cannot put your companion on the list, the list is too long. I said but she will be close to the top. The agents response was that is not how it works it goes by fare class golds can be higher than plats.

Glad it worked out for you.

 to the agent for the shennanagii

In PA, one can also buy six-packs at delis.

I have lived in four states, each of which had different liquor laws (OH and SC are essentially the same, differing only in who owns the state stores). It's all very confusing.

Glad to hear your companion got the up -- clearly the agent does not get the finer points of how the upgrade list is sorted. What did you say to finally get her to add your companion to the list?

Which translates to a lazy agent.

Morning, Box.

Speaking of driving woes...

Ranking of states by level of "exploitation of the motoring public" - speed traps, traffic court issues, etc.: http://www.motorists.org/rankings/

I am not surprised that my current home state, NJ, takes the cake - what DOES surprise me is that 4 out of the 6 states in which I have lived (NJ, OH, LA, NY) are in the top 5. Great.

OH might surprise some of you (compared to the other "usual suspects") but as the other CLE-based people here might affirm, there are indeed some pretty ridiculous speed traps (top of Cedar Hill in Cleveland Heights, anyone? Or the entire "town" of Woodmere?).

I'm knocking on all available wood...never yet gotten a speeding ticket, nor any kind of traffic violation other than an illegal left turn at age 16. I had just gotten my license and...well, I had seen people turn left at this intersection all my life! :o

Needless to say, that didn't go over well with the cop. Neither did the tears. I paid my $90 ticket and lived with it just fine, except when my (blonder/cuter/flirtier/etc) friends would crow about their >75% rate of getting out of tickets when stopped for speeding.

Down to two idle 762ER's in World 1.0, and I just ordered 2 CR1ER's for world 2.0. Should be fun competing against Airline Mogul's resident megalomaniac.

I have a couple pairs of Ferragamos but they're at least a couple years old. Haven't bought any more since all they do is go up in price. My next favs after Eccos are J&Ms.

Morning Box.
