I would prefer any day but Thursday next week as I am daytripping to Hotlanta for a meeting with a potential partner.

Thanks! And the link works for me. Downloading now on the EWR C-120 PC Wi-Fi. Might take a while… Glad I've got a couple of hours.

Thankfully they zipped the file!

Yeah, it is an interesting part of the game now that most of us are learning the difficulty of long haul fleet planning. I saved up for a 744 mostly to learn the economics as well as interesting routes that come in to play.

If it's just a collection of mp3s, that probably didn't do anything except make it bigger since that's what happens when you compress compressed data. :o:rolleyes: Maybe they were smart and turned compression off and basically made it a PC tar file.

Learning the economics of the Soviet Airliners has been fun. Yak-42D and Antonov 74 are excellent aircraft. The An-74 actually consistently out-earn the ATR-72. Hanzhong Y-8 can also be extremely profitable on short-haul.

I think I made a mistake in putting my airline in North Korea, there's no desire to go there, so all of the destinations show up orange. I'm moving as soon as I have enough money to do so.

Whoda thunkit? Africa is wide-open. Lots of tin-pot dictatorships to choose from with higher passenger traffic. If you like, I can reset your airline and TARP you enough to purchase a Potez 842 & Shorts 360-100 (your current fleet), and 12 gates (your present total). That way, you can set up shop at a Third-World  airport with more pax traffic.

Yeah, only took about 30 minutes to download here. Not too bad, considering this is PC Wi-Fi.

I still have a year left. I'm just done for the summer (which is reason enough to celebrate).

True, but it also made it easy to download a single file, rather than a bunch of individual files. They also included the image file for the album cover artwork.

I'm on the road for the next 2-3 weeks anyway, long live free hotel internet access of suck. :)

Cuba ain't great either for demand, but I'm still making decent cash with my single AN-24V. About ready to order my second plane — could do it right now, actually, but trying to finalize my decision on what to buy. Anyone have experience with the AIDC XC-2? I'd never heard of the thing. According to Wikipedia, it's some Chinese prototype airliner that never saw actual production in the real world, but Airline Mogul has it for sale. It's slightly larger and faster than the Shorts 360 that several Third World airlines have, but also has longer range, and a couple more seats. The turn time is just slightly longer, but that's probably more than made up for by the faster speed. I'm thinking about it for some of the shorter routes I had my Antonov on, but dropped, not because they weren't profitable, but because there were more profitable uses for that plane. I'm looking for something a little cheaper, with less range, and a little smaller capacity, to put on some of my short-haul, medium-demand routes out of HAV. And the Shorts, while it's ugly as hell, just isn't quite as exotic as late 1970s/early 1980s communist China technology.
