My dad is from middle-of-nowhere Indiana where a good amount of popping corn is grown and packaged. Up until five or six years ago there was a pop corn maker right in town and we'd buy the red and midnight blue corn.

I think it has something to do with the Amish population there and their method for growing the stuff. We're hooked.
